"The staff was quite nice, but I found the atmosphere a bit too snooty. We waited an hour for our food. The fish was clearly too sour and didn't taste good. The steak was overcooked and rubbery. The sauce on the steak was barely there and the mushrooms weren't tasty. The potatoes were very dry. The children's portions are really only intended for children up to 3 years old because there was so little there that my 8 year old brother was still hungry after the meal. My portion was also significantly less than €23.50 and wasn't full. Luckily there is a kebab shop around the corner. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant."

"The rooms are very clean and spacious. The hotel is centrally located in Helmstedt. Breakfast is good. Dinner at the restaurant is just as delicious, but takes too long to prepare. There were two tables and we had to wait 50 minutes. What are you doing when the restaurant is full? Unfortunately, it also has a negative effect on trainees. In case of misbooking, guests were cured and vaccinated. There was no explanation of how to avoid misbooking and, if necessary, how to adjust the procedure. A question whether you can go to the bar with 8 people in the evening was rejected for the reason that you would have only 5 seats. That was very surprising if you don't need sales, we're going somewhere else."
