"Party of 7 we took my mother in law here for her birthday dinner 4/9 around 2:30. My husband and I have been here a few times prior and food and service was always on par. However, the service and food were terrible. When we arrived the restaurant only had a few other people, not even half full, and we ordered drinks and 2 appetizers. When we ordered our meals, which took forever to arrive, the wait staff appeared to be bored and not intersted in us. We ordered the sampler plate, 5 small slices of sausage, 3 fried green tomatoes, and 2 wings with pimento cheese in cup on the side. We also ordered burnt ends. The appetizers were dry and not worth the price. My husband ordered shrimp and grits. Barely any grits in the bowl, 4 shrimp, and the broth was horrible. My smokehouse burger was dry and very little seasoning. The mac and cheese with pulled pork that 2 people in our party ordered was dry and clumped together. Our bill was $153 for dry and uninspired food. Thinking twice before coming back."
