"This place is a pretty unassuming restaurant from the outside, but the inside is a very attractive setting that helps set up a very “homey” atmosphere. Our server Chad was very helpful and talkative, apart from being a very interesting and cool guy. We spoke with the co-owner Jen, which was a great host and helped settle in the atmosphere of the place, which reminds you of being at a close relative’s house for dinner. If only for the staff, this restaurant deserves 3 stars. The food was delicious; best penne ala vodka I’ve had for quite some time. As far as Italian places go in this area, doesn’t get better than this."

"After a long day of hiking in Johnathan Dickinson Park or spending a relaxing afternoon on Hobe Sound Beach, Catfish House is there to provide the perfect icing on the cake . What a temping menu! Comfort food done right. Started with the included fresh cool crisp salad. Moved on to the wonderful crab soup. Not crabby but full of crab! Then a crazy plate of steaming hot fried green tomatoes with yummy hush-puppys almost did us in. Finally.. the Mississippi boneless fried catfish. Wow! Flavorful and steaming hot. Not greasy at all. Our only regret, no room for desert."

"I only had the best freshest chicken sandwich I've ever eaten. I would rate those Wendys more than five stars if I could. Every time I come here, I feel warm welcome for and in and out of the thru drive. Kevin is the kindest helpful employee I've met in a long time, you can say that this guy is proud of what he does, and he actually takes the time to offer customers all while still fast service."

"I've eaten a good time and I've never been unsatisfied. Sometimes they can take a tad long, but it's all worth it. Everything is also transparent. You can cook the cook and pizza to make the food, so you never have to ask if your food is pampered with or not! Her sweet tea is also made fresh every day from new tea bags, and they do not use corn syrup in their sweet tea! They mix it separately with real sugar. I'm never disappointed with this local joint!"

"I absolutely adore this cafe! I visited on a busy Sunday and despite the crowd, we were seated quickly. We opted to sit outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather while receiving excellent service. The food did take a bit longer to arrive, but given the bustling atmosphere, it was understandable. When our meals came out, they were hot and fresh, hitting the spot perfectly. I highly recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely be returning!"

"What an amazing place!! My family and I travel through Hobe Sound all the time, but have never stopped here. Today, we did and we are so sorry we waited so long to try them out. Rebecca, our server, was very sweet and very attentive. Had a beautiful smile and warm greeting. And the food.... Wow! It was incredible! I have just started to making Bison burgers at home, so I tried theirs. It was so juicy, cooked just right, and BIG! So much bigger then I was expecting. My husband got the ribs and he couldn't finish it all. Such big portions for a very reasonable price. And he's excited about having the rest of it for lunch tomorrow. This is a MUST SEE for anyone visiting or living in the Treasure Coast area. Not only because of the history behind it, but the food and service. Check them out!!"

"I found this jewel back a few months while visiting a customer in Hobe Sound. Come and enjoy their friendly service that treat Camaraderie and cool decor they represent. I even brought my family a weekend and they loved it. Your fish sandwich is excellent, tasty and a really good part, combine with Koleslaw and fries the best! I sat today at the bar and the girls who worked there were friendly and offered us all a great customer service. I will certainly continue to recommend the place and also continue to come when in the area."

"On arrival it was so sweet inside and outside were beautiful. The ordered oysters at the bar were served with unusual utensils, the napkins were checked only after completion. (We shared the one cocktail fork with which she was served) Was it from the main rib because she was all pumped for sandwiches????? Article ordered onion soup really good not hot chicken sandwich was not terrible. Was not really good eggs rolling delicious shrimp grits ok. felt as the geese could have been creamier, maybe Steak Oscar ordered the steak medium. It was very good. Unbelievable. For my dog home. Everything else was good. decided not to have dessert when we disappointed in dinner. Our server was great. The atmosphere is beautiful."

"It was my birthday dinner I wanted blue claws crabs I found the restaurant Quiet Crab online, I confirmed that they crabs and a reservation for 2 and half a dozen crabs. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly hostess server that had our table ready for us. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quiet and picturesque, which made us feel very comfortable! My husband and I moved here to Hobe Sound from Cape May NJ last year and the Quiet Crab is the first place we found to serve blue claws crabs that were absolutely delicious big and fleshy! We also had shrimps and frits with the old bay, the tasty to say the least. We finished our feast with chocolate lava cake, which our server put in a candle for a birthday wish? Our experience in Quiet Crab was excellent and we will go back to try everything, as the food has a Maryland flair to him that we love. Thanks again!!! See you soon."

"We stopped in for lunch after visiting the Hobe Sound Art Festival. They have a huge tiki hut with outdoor seating. On this afternoon they also had a live band performing. We reviewed the menu before going but sadly for the Art Show weekend they were only offering a limited special menu. Also, all of the food was served in plastic to go containers not sure if that happens all the time or because of the Art show. Seemed like a lot of plastic usage for a city by the sea.... Anyway, we ordered the ahi tuna salad and a burger. Both were good and we enjoyed our meal while listening to the band."

"Our lunch trip this week brought us to 3 brothers Brunch in Hobe Sound. We were welcomed by friendly staff and happy to get the last stand available. Other people (we suspect they were the regulars) were greeted with names and they quickly got the feeling of a family atmosphere. The place was clean and simply furnished. The toilets were immaculate, which is important to me, we wanted to order and share a Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich and a Cobb Salad. The waitress informed us, however, that salads were not regarded as ducks. So that was out if we wanted to use the voucher. She struck a hamburger fresh from Angus beef. The cheese steak sandwich was made from shaved rib eye with sawed vegetables. You could choose two sides, but the sweet potato fries were extra, but worth it! The food is prepared when you order so that everything is made fresh. We chose both the Philly Cheese Steak, my pages were pasta salad and the sweet potatoes fries/ Ed choose homemade potato salad and co"
