"The waitress was incredibly friendly and even helped us with some menu items when we asked for assistance. Our food arrived promptly and was delicious! I had the General's chicken, which was tender, and the sauce had just the right amount of spice. I wish I had taken a photo because my salad was beautifully garnished with a decorative flower and thinly sliced carrots. It looked so nice that I almost didn’t want to eat it! The ambiance was great, the restaurant was clean, and the dining experience was perfect. My only two complaints are that the location is a bit tricky to find, and one of our fortune cookies was broken. Nonetheless, I will definitely eat here again when I’m in Hot Springs!"

"As per usual our experience at Steinhaus was amazing. Except this time was different. We waited for over an hour for our food. Our waitress, God bless her, she was struggling. Could not suggest a good beer, was running all over the place, barely tended to us because we were hidden behind a column so we weren't able to really be seen when we did need something"

"We had a great meal 4/13/2023. The pork belly and grits appetizer could be an entrée it was so good. Since they opened, every time we come to Hot Springs, which is usually 2-3 times a year, we eat at least one dinner at the Vault. The food, the service, the ambiance is impeccable and only get better each time. I can't forget to mention the light up menus! We enjoy the changing menu items so there is always something different to try and the Chef's cheesecake is always a must. The head chef came to our table twice tonight to deliver some of our food and thank us for being there. Also, I want to mention the attentive staff. Not only our server but the others that came by to check on us. We always recommend to our friends and family when they are making a trip to Hot Springs as well. We will be back soon!"

"The exterior does not do the quality justice! Went in with friends expecting medium scale food and service, and received five star! From Heidi, the manager, to Tim our waiter, to the first class food everything was absolutely was upscale! Tammy, the owner, even took time to insure all was well. "I am very happy they had a vegan option, that is so considerate, and their staff was nice and polite. They were following COVID protocols so I appreciated that. But the food was borderline inedible. My dog didn’t even want the fries. To be fair we were later picking up than we thought so the food had been sitting out for 15 minutes and I’m sure that didn’t help things. We were on the road and it was one of the few places open (apparently in the South everything closes at sundown). I think we’ll be buying groceries and cooking our own food while in Hot Springs."

"I have exceeded my expectations. not that I didn't expect the food to be good, but I didn't expect it to be that good. they made a simple tempeh sandwich taste so tasteful and the friijoles rancheros naan was delicious! I will stand there every time I come to visit. can not wait to try the other vegan options. I also got a tee and it was lovely, dear as she had stevia as a sweet substance."

"The restaurant served the equivalent of two large busloads of people. There was a line set up to make sandwiches. Nothing really for vegetarians. Swiss cheese had crusted edges from being old. Not the greatest... No variety. The desert bar had candy that had no wrapping. There were also lemon squares and cookies. The good thing was the cost of a Negra Modelo was only $4.00. "Last week on a nice night, to walk not too far for food and a great Chef Rebecca Christensen and staff, for some time the word was out that one leaves not disappointed but completely happy with the great experience that is offered. Tonight two of us wanted to celebrate by reserving a table for the same experience others before, from the moment arrived with a warm smile and made to feel at home. The food was superior while the dessert out did its self with such artistic approach. Just a short note on the Creme Brulee was the upmost best in many years. I highly recommend anyone take the time and reserve a table for a great experience."

"What a hidden gem. We live in a lake house nearby (out of town) and the restaurants are all in town. We happened to drive by this place which is out in no where land. We decided to give it a try from reading reviews online. Wow. Simply wow. We were seated by the server, Britini, who gave us excellent service! She was extremely courteous and quick with everything. We had an order of raw oysters, shrimp and catfish and an order of gumbo. Wow. Again wow. I'm impressed with the food as well. I've done many reviews for restaurants but for a restaurant out here it's a five star and worth a trip from in town to out of town. I will be back for desert and to try out other items on the menu."

"I worried about eating here JUST because we are from out of town, I don't tolerate gluten well, and the place is based on English muffins. People who can't have regular bread don't normally torture themselves in that manner, but I figured I could just get a normal bread-free breakfast and be fine. I was SO happy to learn that they have sourdough English Muffins, and I go to actually order the eggs benedict. That never happens! They were great. i ordered the fruit cup as the side, thinking it would be fresh, and was disappointed to have canned fruit, but, meh... whatever. I got to eat eggs benedict. I was happy. Atmosphere is relaxed and you can watch the kitchen work their magic. Very happy we visited!"

"if they are looking for the best cats they have ever had, this is the place! the entrance walls are plastered with best catfish prices, and young earn it. the prices are quite reasonable and they also have a very large selection of other food options such as burger and ripen and even pulled gay. do not let them try without the plucked green tomato! make sure they say hey to darius, the manager; he is one of the most friendly people around!"

"Very clean restaurant, good food for a very reasonable price. We went here later in the evening for dinner. The chips and salsa were very good... No complaints whatsoever there. We both had shrimp dishes with rice and beans. I thought the rice and beans were pretty solid and the shrimp were a good size and the sauces good. The prices were very low in our opinion. We aren't from the area... Or even Arkansas for that matter, but we do visit family fairly regularly. Where we live, getting a shrimp dish with rice and beans would be at least $20 minimum. We were blown away at the food being in the $10 range for each dish. For 2 shrimp dinners with rice beans, complementary chips and salsa, plus a pop and an iced tea... The bill was $31 and change with tax. Soooo cheap. Love it. If cleanliness is important to you this is the place. We saw the employees throughly cleaning the tables.. Top and bottom. Chairs, top and bottom... Even legs of chairs. They don't mess around when it comes to cleaning here. I would imagine that that translates to a clean kitchen as well. Highly recommend."

"Salmon with broccoli bang bang shrimp pasta was absolutely delicious. The fried shrimp in the pasta is a savory and sweet touch. My only complain is that less salt could be used on the salmon, and bread would be a nice compliment for 16$ plate of pasta. "A year ago I was looking at restaurants in Hot Springs to try. Several of the reviews mentioned the pot o' beans as the best. I had no idea what that meant. Why would beans be the best at a barbecue place? We went in and tried the barbecue. It's good. But we also ordered a side order of pot o' beans. OMG! It's pork-and-beans-style of beans with pieces of barbecue flecking the beans: brisket, diced ham, etc. Today we went back. Due to time constrictions, we ordered two pots o' beans to go. We needed a light lunch and they hit the spot. At first I was disappointed that the top level was homemade pork-and-beans. Little did I know that all those heavy flecks of barbecue had drifted down to the bottom. It was pure barbecue heaven once I hit the right stratum. We will be back!"

"I just found a gem on road side. A friend of mine took me to this place and Bingo !. A real authentic, cook to order, original Mexican cuisine. Just loved it. "The evening began with cocktails. I had the special drink of the day a vodka martini with blood orange added. My husband a Negroni our friends ha single malt scotch a special martini. My husband had their house salad, eggplant rotini the clams in a tomato broth. All of those wee delicious but clams stow the show !! I had the watermelon salad with feta cheese which was light perfect for a summer salad. I had the Chilean Sea Bass which was perfectly cooked. This was atop broccolini, shave parsnips carrots which was a tasty accompaniment to the fish. My friends split a caprese salad which they very much enjoyed. Their entrees were the Atlantic Salmon the clams. They said both dishes were wonderful. The service was great, attentive but not smothering. The restaurant has been redecorated since the present owners bought it is lovely. As for noise level, it was very quiet when we first arrived at 5 pm but was a little louder 2 hours later when most tables were filled. It was a very pleasant dining experience we look forward to the next time we eat there."
