"Dined in for lunch with a group of friends. The service was great, our server was friendly and the sushi came out quickly. We didn’t feel rushed as we were all catching up after not seeing each other for a while. I got the Yama roll, it had spicy tuna, crab meat, fried, and topped with a jalapeño and eel sauce. it was so tasty! I definitely recommend this place."

"First time here, the line out the front door was impressive (obviously worth waiting for). The hostess was friendly and remembered got everyone sorted quickly.wait was not as long as expected. Tried their lemon ricotta pancakes and they were so good DH only got 2 bites lol. He got. Hicken fried chicken which was tender and came out hot. His eggs were over done (we've come to expect this) asked for bacon crispy and it came out perfect, crispy not burnt. We will be back! Jennifer was best waitress in ages!"

"My first time dining here. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and the service was very fast. I ordered a cucumber salad, the stuffed mushroom appetizer, and the California roll. The cucumber salad came with shredded crab mixed in, and the dressing tangy sweet but with a little spicy kick on the back end. If you order the stuffed mushroom appetizer, I recommend sharing it with others as it is a good sized appetizer. This place has relaxing interior decor, so I never felt rushed to dine and run. Please come visit Ahoyama and enjoy their sushi art!"

"We had already eaten, but stopped by for drinks and dessert.Extensive drink menu.About five dessert choices.Everything is served in massive proportions.We were greeted very warmly.Our server was very attentive. He quickly brought bread and fixed a dipping concoction at the table.Our choices were absolutely divine.The decor was reminiscent back to the days of old Hollywood glam- with opulence, and even an area for an old telephone booth. An old vintage feel -like a blast from the past.On a Friday evening- the bar seemed packed.Everything that was brought out to surrounding patrons looked very appealing.Would go back and try food.The food menu was huge."

"I ordered to go today and eat was disgusting! my man, who literally eats something and doesn't really complain when it's arranged with me and so the other person we were with, we all said the same thing, eating was not good at all and it has a not so grate I think it smells just like it tastes. I go to Hawaiian bros and the food is delicious there, so they do a favor to her themselves and if you require Hawaiian food go there and not here. I don't want to go back!"

"Delicious pizza! Had the medium steak and cheese pizza, and it was the best we ever had! It was loaded with steak, cheese, peppers and onions! Also the Buffalo Chicken Salad enjoyed, and I am not even a fan of fried chicken! Both the middle pizza and the salad were much for two to share and remains!"

"Amazing! My husband and I went this evening to start our New Years Eve. The ambiance and decor were perfect. The restaurant was decorated for the occasion, and I appreciated all the little NYE touches. Our server Logan was fantastic. Attentive and informative. We split a bottle of malbec, had the calamari and smoked salmon appetizers, Caesar salad and lobster bisque, stuffed orange roughy and lamb chops, and tiramisu and bread pudding with espresso for dessert. Every dish was fantastic and I highly recommend. We are planning on returning for Valentine's Day (and most likely sooner than that). This place is such a hidden gem. 5 stars for the food, service and ambiance."

"We had a party of nine and is often difficult to get good service, food out quickly and warm. BJ's did a great job on all. Everyone commented on how delicious the food was from shrimp scampi to the bison burger and even the jambalaya! I had the zucchini noodles and chicken equally delish! We look forward to visiting the restaurant again."

"I’m really particular about food since I spent over 20 years in the restaurant business, and I absolutely love this place. The food is always fresh, and the broccoli is cooked perfectly every single time. Plus, the delivery is super fast. I appreciate that they handle their own delivery instead of using services like DoorDash, which tends to cut into the earnings of their employees. That’s a big deal for me. Bottom line, they consistently provide a lot of hot, fresh food, making family dinners a happy occasion, especially on red sauce nights!"

"What an amazing experience! And the fact the burger was so juicy and delicious! I am always in the hunt for a good burger. I look for fresh beef, fresh and crispy veggies, buttery toasted buns....well I'm here to tell you that's exactly what I go! The customer service was amazing. The young lady in the drive thru know the products, gave me her suggestions and also offered me dessert! The manager even came over greeted me and handed me my food! I got the #3 bacon cheese burger, onion ring and a sweet tea-medium it was $10. I will spent 10 bucks on an amazing burger and a smiling face any day. I will strongly recommend this restaurant!"

And I drive out of my way to go to them to get dinner formyself. They are not in my area. They are 20 minutes away from my home. I could of stopped at 2 other chicken places that wereon the way and gotten chicken from them but I preferred Lisa's over the others and then they rip me off on my food. I'll knowfor next time."

"Ordered grilled pork spring rolls at 1:30p on a Monday and was happy to find the place moderately busy. Not a long wait. The pork was perfectly seasoned and the cook was spot on. The sticky rice paper was fresh and stuffed fat with vermicelli, pork, and basil which really set it off. The fish sauce was tangy and really tied it all together. Could have used some carrot strips but overall a stepper post-workout snack. Will be returning."

"My husband and I went for dinner on a Sunday night about an hour before closing. As we walked in there was a large sign blocking the way to the counter. It told us to order at the kiosk. Thankfully we were used to those things. We chose to get a bowl. Then you have to choose if you want a regular bowl or one that comes with two pot stickers, fried, or one that is sizzling hot cast iron. My niece got that last time I went and it literally smelled like her food was burning as we ate. I guess that is why they call it Burning Rice, lol. You have to choose your rice or noodle, they have white, brown, or veggie rice, we chose noodles. then you choose your protein, we got bulgogi beef but they also had shrimp chicken, pork, tofu, etc. Next you choose your veggies or toppings. We chose carrots, broccoli, bean sprouts, another unknown item which turned out to be the noodle we already chose earlier, fish cake, which looked like sliced fried scrambled eggs, and nori, which is thinner than the carrot slivers we got. Ours was $13 but my husband chose extra meat so that was like $1.50 extra. We also got a 5pc. Honey Chicken wings for me and a Spicy order for my husband. They were around $7+ each We shared the bowl. Oh and I had to try the honeydew melon drink they had and my husband got a fountain drink. I think all in total our bill was $38. You grab your drink cup and a numbered metal thing next to the register and tell the computer your number. When you get to your table there is a bar that has sauces, chop sticks, utensils, condiment cups, straws and to go containers you can go up and get whatever you need or like, oh and of course a soda fountain. They bring your food to the table when it is done. As I knew he would my husband loved the spicy wings. They are soooo crispy! I love, love, love the honey wings! Best wings ever!!!! We were stuffed when we left and took two and a half wings home with us. My husband said we would probably go broke if he had one of these restaurants near his work. We will definitely be back as often as we can."

"Went for lunch, ordered individual items, $13 and change. When the person brought my food to the table he noticed by ordering as a meal I could have saved around $2. He cancelled the transaction and charged $2 less. The management notified me that the person at the register was a new employee and he did not offer me combination meal price. I am amazed by the honesty and professional work ethic. I highly recommend this Slim Chicken Hurst TX location."
