"CRAZY GOOD SANDWICHES! What! I recommend ordering online. The line moved slow and we were glad we had already placed our order. The line is slow because the guys working are busting their butts, so the service is still good. It’s worth the wait. The atmosphere is really fun and cool too. The bathrooms were shockingly clean! Private too. All of us loved our sandwiches however my Philly with added American cheese and grilled jalapeños was the star. SO DANG GOOD. I’ll dream about this sandwich."

"Visiting from Austin, Texas! We were told to come here by some folks at Georgetown Loop Railroad and we were not disappointed. To start, the side salads were fresh and extremely tasty! We got a Motherlode pizza on mountain crust and it was incredible. The honey on the table for the crust was a nice touch and super tasty. We’ll definitely be back!"

"Great menu with great food. We ordered 2 different IPAs and they were both delicious. There was a mistake with my order, but the staff was friendly and got me the right thing out incredibly fast! "Go early! We arrived there shortly before 8:00 on a Saturday and it was pretty busy about 30 minutes after. Shown is the veggie burrito, lemon poppy pancake with berries and cream cheese drizzle, and the land scramble. Everything was delicious! Service was great. Prices were reasonable and not too expensive. It was hard to choose what to get because everything looked like a good option. You serve breakfast all day and also have a solid, non-breaking menu. Also a good selection of Boozy breakfast drinks. Very recommended to go. We will definitely go back and with friends next time!"

"The menu is not clearly labeled as to what is vegan, but that’s probably because there’s not much. I was going to build my own sandwich with tofu but they were out, so I got a bow of soup. It was fine, pretty normal veggie soup. The staff is not very knowledgable about what is vegan/can be made vegan. I asked if the Reuben could be made vegan and the staff did not know."

"Best coffee shop round. It is such a treat to come here and relax, have a wonderful coffee, my husband also discovered the amazing cakes here! Every time we get through, we come here. People are incredibly nice, very homie feeling, games and coloring pages at the tables. Perfect place to rest."

"In town for a girls weekend and we spent a lot of time perusing local menus (so many delicious options! . We settled at Clear Creek Cidery, with the Cider Burger luring us in. The atmosphere was great friendly, relaxed, with a great open bar and lots of tables. The servers were so friendly and outgoing shout out to Sawyer, who we wanted to take home. Sawyer said the Cider burger was great but what he really loved was the Reuben. It was amazing perhaps the best I've had. Homemade thousand island and Guinness braised corned beef? Yes please!! We also tried the Oh MY God green chili and the chips and salsa queso. And the guava cider on tap. Delicious!!! It made for a wonderful first meal in Idaho Springs."

"Good beer and good food. The pig green chili had the right level of spices, but the Buffalo Nachos did not. The waiting staff was very attentive. Had the porter who was a little hoppy for my palate, but okay. Street parking is hard in winter, so ready. The environment was a bit loud, only the acoustics of the building, but the conversation was difficult at our table. I don't know if I would make a special trip here to eat/drink, but as a stop on the way up or down it's a solid choice."

"We're in Colorado for only a week. Do you think we could convince you folks to move to Texas? Texas would welcome you with open arms! We're already looking into renting a house in Idaho Springs for next year's trip so ee won't have so far to drive! We tried several different beers! It's the kind of beer you can roll around in your mouth to get the most flavor possible! We also enjoyed many food items including the green chili burger, the fish chips, fish tacos, the green pork chili, the homemade bacon wrapped cream cheese stuffed jalapenos. It was so good we went back two days in a row. It's too bad we have to head home or we would fit in one more trip!"

"Great atmosphere and staff, but the pizza was a farewell. We spent the day in and around Idaho Springs and had a wonderful day with a surprise spade! We decided to try pickaxe pizza because the whole family loves wood-fired pizza. The bar, restaurant and outdoor areas were cozy and welcoming and we enjoyed some vintage arcade games while waiting for our cake. We went for a veggie cake when we had BBQ for lunch. When the pizza came out and we dug into us, we were greeted with little taste in the crust, sauce and cheese and while the veggies were tasty they were done under, how was the pale crust. Maybe it was a free day or a new cook, but somehow, with so many good options in the city I am not sure that we would return."

"A perfectly placed restaraunt on the side of the highway over the ski areas. An underwhelming but positive experience here. Our servers were excellent. They asked about our day and stayed conscientious about our food and drinks. A very friendly and positive staff usually makes a great experience and 5 star rating. HOWEVER the Fajitas I ordered were burned and lack of taste in the flesh. Disappointed. We also ordered the Guacamolburger, who was good, but nothing to inspire. The beef patty was perfectly cooked to temp, but tasted bland without taste. It was very overwhelming for the amazing reviews that this place has. We would return, but probably order something else."

"What appeared to be an utterly unassuming diner was actually a diamond in the rough. The staff, upon entry, were unendingly friendly, with a very clean mountain aesthetic. Then, dear Goodness, the food arrived. Hands down, the absolute best green and red chili we've had since moving out west, absolutely unparalleled. And the burger! Oh goodness, the best burgers we've had in 20+ years. If you're passing by here, STOP AND EAT. If you don't, you're missing out on some of the best food in Colorado, hands freaking down. We are bookmarking this as an out of the way place to return to regularly. I hope I can request large batches of the chili to-go!"

"Returning from Devils Thumb Ranch, heading back to Boulder, my family and I, starved from the traveling, pulled over into what seemed like a quaint little town. Little did we know that it housed that single greatest breakfast, brunch, and lunch restaurant in the history of Colorado. The variety of the food was jaw dropping. It was a true spectacle to flip through the pages of the menu, discovering new genres of food that they served. My only complaint was the confusing formatting of the menu, as they wrote all of their meal items packed together to the point where it was difficult to find where one item ends and another begins. The food itself was nothing less than 5 star cuisine, cooked to perfection and served quickly. Talking about the quick service, the waitresses and waiters had their organized Method of service down pat, helping them meander the tight areas in the restaurant. I would die for another chance to visit this exceptional restaurant. Definitely recommend!"

"Breathe down here, Mt. Evans. I'll eat every chance here. Your BBQ is so good and the sauce is also great. We got the hot wings, a few BBQ sandwiches, and some pulled pigs and it was all on the point and smoked to perfection. Your ranch and fried pickles are also on point!!! "No chili and no fries available when ordered because they were out yet only a handful of people in the restaurant. Fries are apparently brined for some reason so they can't just make them to order. Blue cheese burger was edible but extremely salty as well as the sweet potato fries I got as a consolation. My only guess is that the cook isn't tasting his/her food or taste buds are shot. Staff was friendly but it was weird having a dog roam around while you eat. I'm not even sure if that's acceptable by the health department. In any case, I don't have a good reason to come back. I hope the food improves."
