"Best fish dish I ever had, and I’m not a fish person. Service was really good. Couldn’t understand why the main dining room wasn’t busy. Could use more ambiance like soft music, softer lighting , and table candler make all the difference. TV carryover from the pub side is not what dining out on Saturday night is expected. Otherwise, the food came out hot, and was good."

"Unfortunately, there was a wedding/party/reception in the same room .....we were placed behind a lovely screen but they were a very loud, lively celebratory group constantly announcing praises, etc. into their microphone system. It wasn't the best scenario for us after a busy week and many of them were smacked. Wished they had told us when we made the reservation. We did not want to settle in the Bar area as that was already blasting loud Friday night fun) when we arrived. The saving grace was that the food was great as well as the coffee....I personally would not go back....especially as interlopers with a wedding party in the same room. I would suggest people to make sure that they are not subject to the same issue but you cannot do that when you reserve on-line. :"
