"Five of us shared two salads and two large pizzas. We started with the Caesar salad, which was not great. The dressing was vinegary, which always surprises me as there is shouldn't be any vinegar in a Caesar. The croutons were hard and it appears that both the dressing and the croutons were purchased, not made. We also had the Sophia salad, which was much better. Again, the dressing tasted like creamy Italian right out of the bottle, but there was a nice mix of lettuce, tomato, chick peas, red pepper, and more. We had the Sophia pizza, their version of the Margherita, and it was excellent! Perfectly cooked, crispy with light browning on the bottom, chunky tomato sauce that was simple and delicious, and fresh mozzarella. We also had the Capo, another perfectly cooked pizza topped with pepperoni, sausage, meatball, barely cooked red onions, mushrooms, olives, red pepper, and fresh basil. I don't think either pizza had fresh basil, but maybe it was added before baking? Service was pretty good, very nice server but a little scattered. Never got one of the drinks we ordered. We also had an espresso, which was fair, and tiramisu, which I didn't try but was told was pretty good. Would we go back? Definitely! Pizza is the big draw here and they know what they are doing. A bit pricier than a lot, but worth it. Give it a try! And they take reservations, which is a big deal, especially in season."
