"I got married at Hukilau Lanai in April 2022, and everything was just perfect! I communicated with Chantry via email and phone to plan it long distance, and she handled all the details beautifully. From the gorgeous scenery at the ceremony and cocktail reception to how the decor was arrangement and the delicious food at the reception, we couldn't have been happier with how it all turned out. The service was excellent, and guests are still commenting on the amazing food. A couple guests said that the steak was the best they've ever had. I would recommend Hukilau Lanai to any couple getting married on Kauai. We ended up with ~45 guests, and this venue worked perfectly for us. We can't wait to come back to dine next time we're on Kauai!"

"The food quality was horrible! The ahi Poke was warm and the fish tasted old and chewy! The salad was semi-okay but the lettuce was brown. The catch of the day was tasteless and the gnocchi or whatever side it was tasted like wet dog food. I 'm sorry for the bad review but I wouldn 't recommend this place to anyone! Also, the kitchen was across the pool at an apartment complex/timeshare resort. The food was cooked and prepared in the kitchen in a kiosk kind of place and then delivered to the seating area restaurant Definitely one of the worst places we have been to in a long time! Only positive thing about this place was that it was located on the beach! That 's it!"

"My husband and I found Sam’s while on our honeymoon. The ambiance was amazing. The staff sat us as close to the ocean as possible. We had the BEST nachos I’ve ever had. The wine was amazing. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough."

"Best plate lunch on Kauai! Return customer to Pono Market since 2006. Super friendly, family-owned business with delicious Hawaiian options. If you are a visitor, this is your chance to experience local food, order something with a name you do not know: The service is good, but I prefer Takeaway, you are about five hundred meters from Waipoli Beach and Fuji Beach, (also called Baby Beach. Maybe you have your dinner with sea views."

"these are some of the best tacos I've ever had! I wish I could give it five stars. there were three vegan options and I got the fire tiki sweet as a taco, and the marinated tofu as the other. I asked for no cream and no cheese and the waiter took it easily without problems. First we thought they were just expensive tacos, but two tacos could feed a village. I was the only one in my family who could both end my tacos (hey, it is worth not eating meat sometimes absolutely incredible taste and very spicy. the tortillas are homemade every day and are thick and tasteful. only a wonderful taco experience. I'll think about these tacos for a long time."

"Fantastic in every way! Great food. Worth the wait. Staff are pleasant. Currently (Fall 2021) the schedule is a bit awkward, being closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Hopefully they can open more often soon. Until then it’s worth coordinating your schedule to get here for breakfast. Mediterranean omelette is superb. Mac nut French toast is great."

"The food was fresh and they had large servings. I only gave them 4 stars because I felt they didn’t have a lot of flexibility with the menu. The pancakes are huge and a serving is 3. They did not offer a 1/2 stack , even when asked. It made us not order them which was sad because they looked delicious but we didn’t want to waste them."

"Very large breakfast menu! Pretty reasonably priced too. I had a nutella crepe with bananas and the crepe was nicely cooked and had a little bit of a crunch on the edges. Their orange juice is freshly squeezed and you can definitely tell. It was super refreshing. The decor is adorable, but the dining room was pretty hot. We went around 11 am and it was by no means crowded. We should have just sat next to a fan. Service was quick and they have an art project you can work on while you wait!"

"The place is expensive, but the quality of the food was some of the best Mexicans we had. The homemade taquitos are excellent and the Fajitas are fresh and tasty. We liked the appetizer Taquitos better than the Fajitas, but I don't think you can go wrong with something. The service was also exceptional."

"We came here more than five times at our visit to Kauai. All we had here is amazing! Customer service is also excellent. We loved Tahitian Limonade, Garlic Focaccia Toast, Samosas, Meatballs, Cale Salad with Cornmeal fought Tofu, Kichererbsalat wrap, Ranch Burger and Speckkäse Burger, the Hamburger Curry (that's my favorite!) and to dessert I loosened the truffles. I feel more inspired to cook vegan at home now! Thanks for delicious and healthy vegan options on the island!"

"Nom is super chill and very good. Almost reminds me of an ATX vibe with the "Keep Brunch Weird" sign hanging inside. You can be busy, but it's worth waiting. Very refreshing concept to make it to Kauai. Atmosphere: The music was excellent to play all Upbeat songs. One could even hear that one of the chefs sings in the back at the top of his lungs. While some find this annoying, it was actually a lot of fun. Everyone smiled and had a good time. The place was PACKED! Waiting wasn't too bad, but this is a popular destination for brunch. Food: We had the Notorious P.I.G. and Porky Hash w/ side of the bacon. Both dishes were excellent. The sauce may have been a little heavy on the Porky hash, but still very pleasant meal. Beverages: Hat Mimosa Monday $5!!! You can't beat this here in Kauai. Parking: For their location at the moment it is super easy. Many parking spaces because right next to Big Save grocery store."

"We visited this restaurant twice. The first time, the owner greeted us and the service was good and one of the dishes was decent the stir fry but the pho was totally tasteless. I had to add all kinds of sauces and chilli to make it taste like anything. The second time we thought we'd skip the pho veggie and order the tofu stir fry instead. This time the stir fry tasted awful the veggies were undercooked, there was no flavor with very little tofu and I also found MEAT in my dish! Plus the service was terrible the owner wasn't there. So I have to give this restaurant a poor review. Sorry guys got to keep the food and service consistent to deserve 5 stars! Don't go there not worth it!"
