"Went to Kenwood El Rancho Grande as a central location for a group celebrating my grandson's birthday. I called ahead requesting a reservation for our group, but was told they don't take reservations. When I arrived, someone else in our party had alreadygotten a table for us and they were seated at the very back of the restaurant in an alcove. This would have been okay, exceptthe waiter was not very attentive, and we had to ask for refills and even the dinner of the birthday boy, which did not come outwith the rest of the food. The room was hot and not well ventilated, so very uncomfortable. While everything about therestaurant was pretty, the prices for food were inflated, and the portions smaller than past visits and comparable restaurants.The presentation was nice, but all in all, not the best value for our money. I used a coupon for $6 off, and was not given areceipt for our meals, so i couldn't refer back for change and tip calculation. Found this annoying."
