"Nice little Italian restaurant on the Josef-Gorres Platz square. (about blocks from the river, blocks total from the Deutsches Eck) Indoor and outdoor seating available. We had their thin crust pizzas. (The menu showed prices for individual pizzas, and a statement that they...all could be ordered as large for Euro more). 'large' pizzas (which were about an American medium pizza) served for lunch for of us. Friendly wait staff. The staff primarily spoke German, but there was no problem in communicating the order."

"something like an almost food italian reataurant. the personal really tries but unfinished. ordered starter and pasta for the main course. we have everything at the same time. the waiter explained in bad German (I am not fluent, but better than the personal? that he did not understand. That was pretty clear. pasta carbonara was tacky and not as it should be (only egg, pancetta and cheese and too dense. ok for a fast bite, nothing more"

"I wanted to go in for the bubble tea because it is advertised so much on the window panes. I wanted a classic milk tea with black tea, no frills like syrup. Tapioca is only on weekends, okay. I just took Blueberry Bubbles. I emphasized three times ! That I only wanted the classic milk tea. Well in the end mine tasted like milk with blueberry syrup, for my girlfriend it was just milk with lychee syrup instead of black tea with milk. It's a shame, misunderstood. Original Ich wollte wegen dem Bubble Tea rein, weil an den Fensterscheiben so sehr damit geworben wird. Ich wollte einen klassischen Milchtee mit Schwarztee, ohne Schnickschnack wie Sirup. Tapioka ist nur am Wochenende, na gut. Nahm ich einfach Blueberry Bubbles. Hab 3x ! betont nur den klassischen Milchtee haben zu wollen. Naja am Ende schmeckte meiner nach Milch mit Blaubeerensirup, bei meiner Freundin war es auch einfach Milch mit Lychee Sirup anstatt Schwarztee mit Milch. Schade, falsch verstanden."

"the restaurant in the hotel where I live was closed tonight and the chef here recommended this Italian. I like to eat Italian, but would normally not go to an Italian restaurant, rather Indian or Thai. I arrived on a Sunday night and got the last free table, a good sign. I ordered tomato soup for my starter and it was divine. undoubtedly the best I ever tasted. for my main course I decided for carbonara. it was a huge platelet that spaghetti boiled exactly right and the sauce creamy with a good cheese taste. I was disappointed by the sink; it was very little of him and I found nothing added to the court. a little beer with the food and the bill came to me, which I thought was a good one. it is worth noting that the restaurant visa does not accept. also worth mentioning that the majority of customers had ordered pizza so that they could be the best choice."

"We went there on 4th March 2017. It was around 17.30 and we ordered food before 18.00. We had to wait until 19.15.!!!! This was unbelievable slow. I ordered one menu called "Kyoto" which is 8 sushi rolls and 4 pieces of sushi.My mother ordered Udon. The taste is disappointing. It was our fault that we did not ask what exactly it is but from my Japanese food experience - if the noodle comes fried, it should be called "Yakisoba". but this one did not explain anything therefore we expected to have Udon in soup. It was not only us that was waiting like an hour - many tables also waited! I have no idea why it was very slow without any appologised on that. Dont go there if you do not have plenty of time to wait for them! Horrible."

"We enjoyed the pork schnitzel, red cabbge, potatoes, and a nice cold glass of bitter lemon. Given our german is quite limited we managed just fine with the help of our very accommodating waitress. Would happily go back the next time we're in Koblenz. DANKE! Note: we parked down the street at a metered lot. Tried our credit card and found it likes euros instead, so keep small change handy."

"We tried this place on a Saturday night.It is open for lunch and then closes and opens again at 5.30pm.We were going for a walk so placed our dinner reservation on a piece of paper under the door.When we turned up at 7pm - all good.We had such a good night that we went back on Sunday night as well and it was just as enjoyable.Our waiter was very pleased to see us again.Good comfortable and private Restaraunt.Food very very good and a friendly staff.Have fun - we did."

"We wanted to spend part of our Easter week-end visiting Koblenz and Trier and since we had our sushi loving kids with us (6 and 10), we decided to try this restaurant to please them. The owner is Japanese and despite our non-existant level of Japanese and very poor level of German, he was extremely nice and welcoming. He made sure all was perfect and took very good care of us. The meal was just great, super fresh and delicious, the green tea ice cream is lovely and at the end, right before we left, we even got a present: an opera song by Mr. Sumida himself! We visited many castles and saw great things during that week-end, but the kids keep repeating that their favorites things were the Playmobil exposition at the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, and Sushi Bar Pirates.Arigato Mr. Sumida, that was awesome!"

"As a family of three, we ate at this restaurant yesterday. Food quality was average. Asked for two steaks to be very well done. One was served rare and the other medium rare. We had to send one back and it returned marginally better done....When paying we were charged and not We raised with the waitress who was exceptionally rude. Firstly she said we ordered a different steak from her colleague and we explained that we had pointed to the one we wanted on the menu. Then she said we were all given old menus with old prices, all prices had gone up. When we were calculating the overcharge she said she didn’t have time to wait around as she had many tables to serve and offered us a lesser refund. Finally she blamed her colleague, who she said was only weeks in the job her colleague had been helpful. Average food and disgraceful customer service when somebody sought to take advantage of tourists. Not a place to recommend. The remainder of our stay in Germany was very positive"

"The Pizzeria La Piazza is more than just a pizzeria. Sicilian specialties are encountered here, because the entire Italian food offer, including the pizzas themselves, is made in Sicilian style. "thanks to a gifted voucher we came to eat in the "Dormont ́s". ambiente, welcome, table selection and reception of the order by the female service force left a positive impression. next to the menu there were current handwritten feed suggestions on a teller. we chose 2x pork fillet with pfifferlingen, rösti and small salatgarnitur. the food came quickly and visually appealing, therefore. the salat was fresh and meat, mushrooms and sossed tastefully in order (decently seasoned), unfortunately the rösti was mushy instead of crusty; probably by the above-drauf lying pork fillet along with sauce. the filet was too long and therefore a little dry and tough, moreover the dressing to the salad was missing.My wife left the rösti lying and also worked hard when cutting the pork fillet. the espresso afterwards I felt too flat. because thanks to the voucher a court was not charged, I thought a complaining was inappropriate. if the full price was paid, I would expect a little more."

"Café Baumann is an icon in Koblenz. Their bakery products are amazing and my Mum, who still lives in Koblenz, goes there all the time since years. Yesterday, old friends took us for breakfast and I hate to say it, but...it was less than average and the service was not only unattentive, but the execution was awful and any product that did not come from the bakery was less than average. The salami and turkey was ... cheap. The four of us hated it. Then, it took three attempts to get a soft boiled egg and it arrived mins after breakfast. Once the service had cleaned our plates, it simply disappeared. We sat there for another hour as you do in Germany and were not even asked if we cared for anything else. I would understand if the place was packed but at this particular time two thirds of the tables were vacant. They did not even bother to bring the check we had to find some one to pay. Sorry, as much as I love your place, if I had to pick a place where to go today I'd rather risk checking out any new place than going again. And again, this comes from a customer who has been at least times in the last years."
