"all three or four weeks my twin brother steps and I choose somewhere to go for a week holiday, did it for many years, we pick up all the important tourist sites to visit and as big fans of real ales, craftsmen beeing and...Brays we always find out the best places to visit in any city or town we venture and to find the great local pubs that we can visit for one my twin brother stepped and I were here on a Tuesday afternoon, pub was as busy as always with a big atmosphere, we could only get sitting near the servier bar were two gaffel crumbs placed on the green tiled servier bar and two pencils were placed on one of our beer mats to show how many we had drunk. my beer was really good, gaffel kölsch beer is such a wonderful, light, hoppy and unpretentious beer, which with taste, very easy to drink, a beer style both me and my twin brother stephen really appreciate and served in his distinctive narrow glass, it is a completely refreshing beer. during this visit I can not really comment on the meals as we were here only for beer, but I have eaten here at many places about the years and the meals are only excellent, hearty German cuisine delicious and filling. we really enjoyed our beer here, stayed for three people before we moved on and as with any other visit at d’r tant we had a great time. at d’r tant is easy to find along caecilienstraße. opening times are; Monday to Thursday, 11 o'clock until midnight . Friday Saturday, 11 o'clock until 1 o'clock Sunday, closed. a fantastic wooden local pub, one I recommend to them when they are in the opposite."
