"I have never been disappointed by this place. Everything on the menu is amazing!! The sushi is amazing! It takes them a little time to make on busy nights, but it's totally worth it! On Thursdays and Friday they have a free Empire Roll. Boy!! That thing is UHHMAZIN!!! It's a friend's Sushi roll! Now this place is small, it has about 9 tables? Maybe? Evening get a little packed. If you like a quiet spot, this may not be the place for you on weekends specifically. Because it's small, it may get a little loud. To each their own. I know some people can get over stimulated with too much sound. Depending on the patrons of the day. The waiter Daniel, is amazing! He at times runs a one man show! Y'all tip him well , along with all the wait staff! They all do a great job. ?? Hands down, our favorite place for sushi and Asian cuisine in the Deer Park/ Laporte, area."

"I have never actually been inside the restaurant but I have ordered for delivery twice period and the food. Is excellent and you get so much for what you pay period so it's more than worth the price any time I order. I get enough for 2 or 3 days. And they'll deliver within 5 miles for $15. So for 15 to $20. I have enough food to last 2 or 3 days. Or to share with someone and the food again is the best around. Food: 5"

"Where do I start? I am dumbfounded this restaurant is packed, but good for them. Blaise is the only word I keep coming back to. The menu is average, the food is average and yet it's always packed. It is definitely a place for people who grew up with saltand pepper as the only seasoning in the pantry. The fish and chips sizes were laughable....equal to a bit larger than chickentenders. Long John Silver fish is better, in size and quality. The table bread is bland, the chicken was chicken, the seafoodpasta was a pass and well, I'm already tired from all the typing. What makes a restaurant a 5 star restaurant? If you wantflavor, don't dine here. If you want to pay really unusually high price for basic entrees, do give them a try."

"We arrived on Sunday at 4:30pm. We were excited as the restaurant was recommended by a friend and it was our first visit. The small restaurant was almost 3/4 full. There were two waitresses working and another woman behind the bar. We were given menusright away and was asked for our drink order. We ordered water which was promptly brought to us as we decided on a cocktail anddinner. We sat for 25 minutes without the waitress even giving us a second glance as she walked by us at these four times. Wetried to get her attention in the noisy bar to no avail. Twenty minutes in, two young girls literally sat at the table in frontof ours. Immediately after they were seated, they ordered two pints and had them within three minutes! We were completelyignored ????. We got up and left. We went across the street to T-bones Pier 11. The service was impeccable, the foodoutstanding and the view of the lake, beautiful! Our waitress got a $25 tip on a $75 bill. Don't waste your time or your moneyon Third Base Bar and Grill."

"Christos has been a popular restaurant for our family for 30 years. My husband and I had our dinner there. We decided to go to dinner last night and choose Christos because we haven't been there since the pandemic. You didn't disappoint! We had the fried chicken dinner it was very good, each dinner has a half chicken at a very reasonable price! Dinner came with salad or soup, I recommend the soup! Choice of potatoes and desserts. Our server, Noah, was so attentive, even when his tables grew, plus he was very polite and so beautiful, even when we watched other patriots who treated him very rudely and complained about everything. We were horrified by the behaviour of other customers! Thanks to Christos and especially Noah! Another family lover here."

"An interesting location with a perfect view of the ship channel! Definitely worth waiting to sit by the windows. Space was very clean. The restaurant is upstairs but they do have an electric stair lift to get people upstairs. And lastly service was very good and attentive. Now onto the food: (1/5 Fried alligator tail Way too much batter. Couldn’t even taste the actual alligator meat. (3/5 Broiled Crab cakes These had a great flavor but was disappointed to see that it was mostly breading and little actual crab. (1/5 Blacken Mahi Mahi with French fries Honestly this was the worse dish I tried here. It had a very fishy taste even through the blackened seasoning which means the fish wasn’t fresh (3/5 Cup of gumbo house salad the gumbo was pretty good and not too spicy. Salad was nothing special. (4/5 Table bread Cinnamon Rolls the cinnamon rolls were great! Fresh and perfectly warm and gooey! Overall, this place is ok. The location is nice especially if you’re coming down to see the San Jacinto Monument but otherwise nothing to go out of your way for. I’m giving this place a 1 star since I’m pretty sure we didn’t get fresh fish"

"I've had some really disappointing experiences during my last few visits. My husband and I could have easily enjoyed at least three drinks each if our waiter had just been a bit more attentive. Instead, he spent about 15 minutes chatting with another customer about bodybuilding, completely ignoring us. Our food arrived before we even got our chips or silverware, and we had to wait an additional five minutes for silverware to eat. I could only have one margarita because there was no one around to ask for another. I don’t know what’s going on, but I've been coming here for over 20 years, and it used to be fantastic. Now, dining here feels like entering the twilight zone, and the place wasn’t even that busy! Our waiter seemed uninterested in performing even the most basic responsibilities. It was frustrating. The margarita was good, and I really wish I could have ordered another! We anticipated spending $100, but we ended up only spending $50. Gringos, you need to get your staff in check; you’re missing out on revenue and business. I've added a star because the drink was good, but the service definitely needs improvement."

So many places have thick masa with a thin streak offilling. Not here. It was delicious! I will be back."

"Poorly managed restaurant. I had a large order for lunch for 5 people with 11 items totaling $28.51. It took a long time to place the order and get it corrected with the staff. There was a long line and the staff were very impatient. When I tried to double-check my order, the staff actually yelled at me in front of other customers. To top it off, my daughter's Crunchwrap Supreme was missing from the order, which I did not notice until I got home. I live 15 minutes away in traffic and was very dissatisfied with the experience. I will not be returning to this poorly managed restaurant. The staff need better training on how to handle customers and treat them respectfully, especially when there is a line."

Yesterday afternoon to take something with my husband. it took 15 minutes until they were even waited and they were not busy. he ordered chicken with dipping sauce and I order the ultimate nachos with brisket. the history of the world I had it ever! at first no braut came to her when I remembered our waitress. she brings me a container with a microwave brisket that was dry and fat! hardly any cheese on the afteros and when I complained, the whole waitress was to bring me a small container cold shredded cheese! Really? 4 remembered that my man needed a falling sauce for his tenderness. complained about the quality of my nachos and was completely ignored! worse experience ever! we loved this place, but no longer! would not recommend at all!"

"I'm usually a fan of Arby's because I enjoy their food, but I decided to try their gyro this time. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! I would definitely recommend giving it a try if you enjoy gyros. The only thing I found a bit unexpected was that it didn't come with salad on the gyro. It wasn't bad, just not what I was expecting. Personally, I prefer red onions over white onions, especially when parsley is added."
