"Unsere Gruppe übernachtete im Hotel Oberland. Wir fanden die Speisekarte ziemlich gut für ein so kleines Restaurant. Das Essen war gut zubereitet, traditionell. Unsere Kellnerinnen waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Obwohl unsere Gruppe ziemlich groß war, hatten alle einen recht prompten Service, der Spaß machte. Ich war sehr zufrieden mit dem Frühstücksraum. Wenn Sie dort bleiben, ist die Auswahl großartig, sehr schöner Kaffee, der von der Tasse mit vielen verschiedenen Optionen zubereitet wird. Schöne frische Früchte, Müsli, Käse und Brot."

"The worst restaurant I’ve ever been in. I’ve never faced pure racism like this anywhere else. The manager called us names and used slurs on us. They were not serving us because of our skin color and also made fun when I said I’m from Dubai . The manager was so aggressive and told us to go back to our country. He kept using the phrase “this is my country” He kept using slurs like the F word and told us very aggressively to leave the restaurant. All this happened just cause we asked where’s our food. They kept looking down at people with different skin color . This incident had really spoiled our entire trip and shame on them for still treating people differently. I really hope the authorities will take some action on them because as per the reviews, this is not the first time it’s been happening . Overall had a very bad experience in Switzerland because of racist and illiterate people like them . (Them including the two waitresses and the Manager ."

"I have eaten here before and remember really liking it. Recently came back for a 10 day stay and when they said cash only, we initially walked out. Came back days later with Euros (they accept that and US along with Swiss Francs) and so glad I did. As I remembered the food is exceptional. Szechuan Chicken was incredibly tasty. Green Curry Chicken was also really good. We also ordered a Pak (Bok) Choy vegetable dish for the middle to share and it was perfectly cooked and delicious on its own. We have one full day left in Murren and now we must go back and eat here again. I wish there was a Chinese place with food this good in Orlando, Florida where we live."

"While staying in Wengen we ate here on three evenings. The food was excellent each evening and while the menu didn’t change every evening there was a choice of “specials” Staff are friendly and courteous. Prices are in keeping with restaurants throughout Switzerland. We would recommend this restaurant."

"Very good price performance ratio. My son and I had bratwurst with hash browns. And a green salad first. Everything tasted good and the quantity was good after all, we had a long walk behind us. The service was also very nice. Again any time."

"We were very excited to visit this restaurant after much research but we were running late after getting caught in the rain on a hike. We called to ensure they were still taking customers since we read last order was 8pm. They said hurry, even though it was 7:25 pm. We arrived at 7:35 pm. When we arrived I reminded them we were coming for a very special birthday to which the waitress replied yes, yes, yes in an annoyed fashion. I was a bit caught off guard. Once seated and given menus many things sounded great but we had seen some specific dishes we researched online and weren 't sure which they were. When the waitress came she almost demandingly asked Are you ready to order?!? and we said yes but wanted to see what dishes these pics were. She looked and immediately said sold out...that one is sold out too. I asked if she could tell us what the names were so we could pick something else. She did say what they were and so we went to pick our meals quickly and she said Come in guys! Help me out. I was soooo offended. This was to be an expensive very special dinner and she was soooooo ride to us. And I 'm not a sentive diner...she flustered my family and then made them feel embarrassed and greatly disappointed in a dinner we had been looking forward to. I will say this...the food tasted AMAZING. But I 'm still blown away at the rudeness if the waitress. It wasn 't swiss efficiency...just horrible rudeness. If your dinner isn 't for something special then go here...the food was incredible...but if the event is special...go somewhere else."

"in the Wengen village is great for pasta, burgers, steak, Swiss fondue and their specialty seems to be pizza. We went twice while staying in Wengen. The first night we had the Swiss fondue with 2 veggies (broccoli and mushroom) along with potatoes, bread and a ton of tasty cheese. It was a great meal and very filling. It also comes with a starter salad! However, the second night we ordered the margarita pizza and it was OK at best. The waiter explained that the cook was from Italy and blends the basil into the paste, which is why it appeared to look (and taste) more like a cheese pizza. We did a post photo from 10 months earlier of what looked to be an amazing margarita pizza, but this is not what is currently being served. The other pizzas looked great!"

"My group was in Lauterbrunnen for 3 days and chose this place for breakfast on the first day. The food was incredible that we went out of the way to stop the next two days here for breakfast. The baked goods were phenomenal, and the scrambled eggs were the best I ever had! The breakfast sandwich had super fresh ingredients and was perfectly made. The staff was great and even remembered my friends drinking orders, and that I would order ice cream with my breakfast. Could not recommend this place enough! Thank you."

"Wir waren zweimal in unserem einwöchigen Urlaub in Wengen. Das erste Mal hatten wir ein ausgezeichnetes Raclette, mit großartigem Wein zu einem vernünftigen Preis und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, also gingen wir zurück und hatten Rösti und Schnitzel das Fleisch war großartig. Die Kellner waren an beiden Abenden sehr nett. Dies ist kein schicker Ort, bietet aber angesichts der Durchschnittspreise in der Region ein attraktives Preis Leistungs Verhältnis. Die Atmosphäre ist eindeutig international, aber das trifft auf viele Orte in diesem Dorf zu. Alles in allem also ein empfehlenswerter Ort, wenn Sie Ihr Budget kontrollieren wollen auch für Familien."

"We were there twice. On the first day we had something to eat. The food was OK, but it's a shame that when you pay with a card you have to pay different tips starting at 10% and going up. In Switzerland they are Tipper included and mostly only rounded up or if it was very good. You give something voluntarily and you are not in the USA where tipper has 20%, 25% and 30%. That's where you start with this rip-off. On the second day at 4 p.m. we had something to drink and ordered something again. Since we were still waiting for our friends to order food. Then the waiter came to us twice and told us to order something to eat, otherwise we would have to leave again asked the boss because we had already spent over 150 Fr in the restaurant the day before and wanted to complain to him that something like that was an embarrassment. People who drink something want to get rid of it straight away. This restaurant is one of the worst restaurants in Switzerland. Boss has don't let yourself be seen either. It's better to go to another restaurant where the service is better and also speaks German."

"My husband and I really enjoyed our meals at Eiger during our recent stay in Wengen. Maybe the service wasn't exactly warm on our first visit (especially compared to our experiences in Italy , but the food was very good. I LOVED the green salad (so simple but so good! and the rosti and sweet potato curry soup were delicious as well. We ended up going back a second time for fondue and had a great experience, both with the food and the service. I would absolutely return."

"Wir waren im September für 3 Nächte im Hotel Silberhorn. Wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Haben 2 mal im Restaurant gegessen. Der Service sehr nett und kompetent. Das Essen sehr gut und schön Angerichtet. Frühstück mit genug Auswahl und sehr gutem frischem Brot. Trotz Corona sind die Massnahmen eingehalten worden und wir haben uns auch dann wohl gefühlt. Der Ausblick vom Balkon war sensationell. Die Lage perfekt zur Bahn und auch sonst ruhig und doch zentral. Wir können nur gutes sagen und würden dies weiter empfehlen. "Dropped by for late lunch to avoid the crowd. A young gentleman attended to us and his service was nothing short of excellent! My wife and myself ordered a pizza and a soup to share and both were really really nice and tasty. tomato soup was probably the best we had. pizza is soft and chewy! Although we didn’t had 2 main courses, this meal kept us full til dinner. Highly recommended to visit this restaurant when you are tired from the cold air!"

"Der Service war gut. Wir fühlten uns wie am Ende des Essens vertrieben. Wurde weder Kaffee noch Dessert angeboten. Ihnen war die Suppe ausgegangen, die wir wollten, und auch die Salatbar. Wir hatten die Pizza und Rösti. Pizza war gut. Rosti war besser. Enttäuscht, dass mir aus dem Fondue geredet wurde, denn es wäre nur eine Person gewesen. Kein schicker Ort."

"Hey! I'm eleven, and I'm using my Dad's phone to write a review! I liked this restaurant. I got the chicken wings with french fries. The chicken wing were delicious. The fries were a little stale, but that was okay. I wouldn't go back to this restaurant out of all of the places I visited and ate at, but it wasn't terrible."

"We stopped by to have a lunch before we caught the next bus from the Falls back to Lauterbrunnen. It was not busy at all and we went in and got our food cafeteria style. The food was tasty as we had ordered a couple sandwiches, deserts and drinks; the deserts were very delicious. We ate outside on the patio and enjoyed the wonderful views of the falls and Lauterbrunnen Valley. The service inside was average nothing exceptional nor bad and the prices were what you would expect to pay in Switzerland. If you are not hungry, the restaurant is well worth a stop for a desert or a cup of coffee while taking in the dramatic views from around the restaurant. The location is great as it is next to the bus stop and at the head of the trail leading up to the falls."
