"Maybe I am just used to much better quality italian food and pizza, but this food is just very low quality. My family and I ordered chicken and veal parm dinners that came with ziti, and a pie of pizza. The pizza itself was so bland, and the mozzarella was very chewy and tough (usually a sign it has been frozen for a long period of time). The tomato sauce on the ziti was very watery, which also severely watered down the taste (from my experience means instead of making more sauce, they just added water). And the breading on the veal and chicken had absolutelyu no seasoning and again, was completely tasteless. I would recommend goingnelsewhere."

"Atmosphere perfectly fit the menu. Lighting was spot on, well done. Each dish's presentation, execution and taste was exquisite! Wonderful service from start to finish. Drink prices are a bit steep."

"Prior to getting my credit card statement, I would have given everything top rating my family and I really enjoyed our experience. However, when I got my credit card statement, it showed that they added $10 to the tip that I had clearly stated on the receipt.....disappointing."

"I have had friends and family from across the United States eat with me at Wa. Even people that live on the coast where sushi is plentiful and high quality. They rave about Wa and can't wait to come back to visit! The waitstaff is second to none. The sushi is exceptional. They have a patron for life in me."

"Chill sits place with delicious food and great service. Do not cost much more than the passage, and it is a million times better. I had a pimpleburger with a veggie patty, super tasty. A child got a cheeseburger and disappeared, the other got chicken pliers and said they were solid, hubby got a Philly cheese steak and said it was good. We had cornuggets for a starter and they were very tasty and dazzling hot in the temperature. Pro tip: if you can park parallel, do this only in the west of it on the 8th street."

"Was driving through the area and decided to stop here for takeout. Was pleasantly surprised by both the flavor and freshness.Ordered Chicken wings, Pad Thai and of course Crab Rangoon. All three were very flavorful and tasted super fresh. The Crab Rangoon was the best I've ever had and as shown in my picture was super packed."

"Good food as always with an exception this time I ordered a sandwich. It comes with kettle chips, which are bagged as you get from the store or petrol station, so bad quality and reason for a restaurant with delicious rosemary flat bread. Finishing the sandwich was a great tasting and spicy dishes!"

"This is probably a no for me in the future. I'm torn between a 2-3 because I think the food was a 3, the atmosphere is a 4, the prices are a 3, and the service is a 2 at best. It's nice that large groups can be accommodated here with a reservation, and there's a big game selection and plenty of table space. The food was fine if a little overpriced, but it took about 45 minutes to arrive. Our drinks were pricey and small and took at least 20 minutes after we ordered them to receive them. But the biggest issue for me was the lack of any emotion or attempt at friendliness from the servers. We were served our food with no napkins or silverware, no condiments, and the servers NEVER asked if we needed anything. We had to wave at them or flag them down to ask for something, and it felt like we were being a bother every time someone from our large group needed anything. Rather than ask everyone at once, the server would walk away as soon as someone requested something, and they'd come back and another person would need something! Doesn't make sense. This is a cool concept for a board game bar, but if you're going to be a full service restaurant as well, customers should be able to eat a comfortable meal and not feel left to their own devices."

"My wife Jan and I were in Lawrence to intern my folks ashes, being from Texas we were drawn to the Ladybird diner sign, figuring anything associated with Texas has to be good! No disappointment here! The 1st night Carolyn a great personality , gave us some good recommendations from the menu! Cheeseburger was one of the best! Made Texas proud! Our next visit a couple days later was for brunch, Becca’ another great personality, beware she charges 2 dollars for her autograph! Chicken fried steak with eggs and potatoes was dang good! Really the best I’d ever eaten! Put Texas CFS to shame! Jan’s omelette was delectable! The whole place was amazing, Meg the owner she doesn’t charge for her autograph) was great to meet! If you go to Lawrence Kansas, head to Mass street to the diner that should be more famous than that little university there! Thank you to Meg, Becca, and Carolyn for making the Ladybird visit memorable! We’ll be driving through Johnson City Texas thinking about the Ladybird diner! Dwight and Jan Lindley Cypress, Texas. Thank y’all again!"

"A friend of mine has his post wedding rehearsal dinner here. They borrowed the outer space in the back. It was great! It felt like a chic backyard barbeque room where the hosts don't have to cook! They had outdoor heating, numerous tables with comfortable chairs, a pavilion and even corn hole and huge Jenga sets! What a great find was that for this event. Would it do it again anyway."

"What a wonderful place! They stop seating about 1-2hrs before they close due to the wait list. The food is phenomenal and worth it! We put our name on the list (1.5hr wait) then walked down to the toy store and shopped around. The biscuits and gravy were the best I think I've ever had from a restaurant. So good that I bought ab extra order to go so I would have it the next day. ?? They are also dog friendly on the patio and provided water and lovins. I would make the hour drive from KC to go again. High recommend!!"

"Do not eat the chips they put on the table when the server comes on the table. they are garnel. it's kind of deceitful because it looks like reischips or something. They put fish sauce in all Thai curries and it can't be done without them. I've never seen that in a Thai place. p haram tofu from the vegetarian menu is the best dish at all. it is loaded with erdnuss sauce and tofu, it would recommend. updated by previous review on 2021-03-23"

"Not bad good place to eat for upper end restaurants, don't care for their booths especially if kids or people who move around a lot behind you annoying. Can get noisy from bar it felt like sports bar when we went to celebrate a special occasion drunk cackling wine drinkers and TV. My money felt cheap for what we paid."

"If you are easily amused and think that Arabic music and Middle Eastern decor can take away from the below mediocre food here, then I highly suggest this place. I ate here in 2010 and I recall it being pretty good. We were in the area this weekend and stopped in. The tzatziki was runny and flavorless. The yellow rice was bland despite the awesome attempt at putting what may have been spaghetti sauce on it. The chicken shawarma platter was a good size portion and tasty but oily. The gyro platter had hardly any meat but that meat was very good. Savor those 5 bites. Save your money and get the gyro sandwich instead. The taboleh was a small portion, beyond salty and the cracked wheat was still hard. The lentil soup was the best thing we ate Bc it’s supposed to be that bland. To the gentleman running this place. Call mama, call your wives and have them show you how it’s done right Bc you forgot. If you don’t know any better and think pita bread and a chick pea equals Middle eastern cuisine You will love this place. Bathroom was clean though!"

"I'm with Doug! Grew up with Tastee subs in Edison. We used to get 2 whole subs and take them with us when we went down the shore. When we moved to Franklin Park, there it was, another one right down the street! Now a third one. Completely awesome. I could just eat the fresh baked bread plain but of course I don't because the subs are so good. And stop calling them hoagies! They're subs!"

"The restaurant has a unique vibe, and I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious drink I ordered (camomile tea with steamed milk and house-made lavender syrup). I do wish the seating arrangements were better, though."

"I visited this restaurant expecting a great Cuban sandwich based on all the positive reviews, but I was disappointed. While the meat and toppings were delicious, the bread was a letdown. It had been pressed for too long, making it taste like a dry cracker. Additionally, paying over $9 for a small, half sandwich was not worth it. I will not be returning to this establishment and cannot recommend it to others. I have had better Cuban sandwiches elsewhere for a more reasonable price. Very disappointed with this experience."

"Not bad food. But the devil is in the details. Smoked turkey: tender and juicy, great! Pulled pork: tender but dry. Required sauce. Baked beans: way too much cumin, unless they change the name to cumin beans I would not recommend. Fries: serviceable crinkle cut standard edition fries. Fried green beans: yummy! Service: not very welcoming; I approached the counter to order, no hello, no words, just a blank and unhappy counterpersonstaring at me, waiting for me to speak. By the way the place was not busy when I ordered, about 2 parties in the dining area. I would eat there again only to try their brisket(they were out on my visit) and some of their other sides. Overall: OK, not great, not bad, but not living up to the hype in reviews. Maybe it was just Monday and they were having a slow day. Who knows."
