"I wanted to try this place because I heard good things, but I was very disappointed. When I first came in, I was surprised that it was empty since it was 1:00. I had asked for a high chair when I sat for the first time and the waiter had never brought along, I ended to get it myself, which was okay. Then two different people came in to eat after me, and the waiter took their orders first before he came to take my order. That was all right, just wanted him to take my order as I had come in a few minutes before them. Then the Tamhai came and the noodles were burned. I was hungry, so ate a part of it, but I never had padhai that tasted a little burned. When I went to pay, my lunch special came with Thai tea and side rice like $30 I was like wow, that's pretty high for a lunch.... the lady ringed me upstairs told me the Thai tea was $7.50! I was so surprised by the price of tea, I'm used to paying most $4.99 for a tai tea. I told her this was crazy, and it probably explains why it was so empty??? One thing that bothered me was that the waiter had gloves, served the customer and in between it was his lunch in one of the dining room tables to eat and never gloves between touching his food and mouth and serving people changed."
