"One of the higher priced fine dining places in Macon. My medium steak came more medium well the medium, but still tasted good. I really liked the broccoli it was seasoned and cooked just how I like it, still just a slight crisp to it. Would have been nice to have two sprigs instead of the one they give you. I thought the grit soufflé waffle with shrimp was very tasty. Service was a bit slow, but thats becoming the norm with Covid it seems. It would also be nice if they could move the cigar lounge to upstairs instead of right when you enter. All in all a good experience. Ill be back for sure."

"Our dinner at Dovetail was really outstanding! The food and service were exceptional! Our waiter, Caleb, was very friendly and very knowledgeable. His recommendations for food and drink were on point. We started with the house pickles and deviled eggs and both were excellent. We shared the house salad and scallops, and the scallops were cooked perfectly! We also shared the sea bass entrée and it was also cooked to perfection! And whoever made that romesco sauce has got it going on, lol!!! We highly recommend Dovetail: great food and great service."

"We reserved for a party of 10 and enjoyed every minute of my sister's hibachi birthday! The staff was very welcoming. The chef was spectacular, friendly, and hilarious! Orders were taken with precision. He even added extra garlic butter as requested. They also had vegetarian options. My cousins enjoyed themselves. The food was delicious, hot, fresh, and great portion.For Birthdays, there's a special treatment for the birthday person. Hilarity ensues! There's a cute mask for them to wear and a sparkly cannon candle. It was pure laugh-o-rama fun!I had the filet mignon and scallops, with double rice (they have a hibachi noodle option which I was surprised about) and extra garlic butter. It comes with ginger dressed salad and a mushroom broth. I also had the Fantastic Roll. The sushi rolls are really good with a nice packing roll that wasn't too tight or loose.Reservation Date and Time: 4/13/23 7PMBusy? It was busy, but not packed. "Great service scrumptious yes I said scrumptious food! The shrimp was big and juicy and tasted fresh the salads were perfect. Soup was the perfect balance of broth and lobster pieces. no slack. The jambalaya hushpuppies are an acquired taste but live a little try something new. It was 50/50 at my table of likes but guys the place was great i can not wait to return.i really appreciate seeing all of the staff pitching in and helping No complaints went about 630 on a Thursday making your parking a little easier use the parking passport app the meters are a pain and go enjoy this wonderful treat that Macon has to offer."

"We went to have a nice birthday dinner. We were seated really quickly. Our server was very busy, but he had a welcoming smile on his face and when he was at our table he was very attentive and responded very quickly. The food was amazing, and the serving sizes were perfect. When we told our waiter we were celebrating a birthday, he brought us our choice of dessert with a candle in it. A little pricey but worth it for the service and taste!"

"I was very pleased with both my meal and drinks. I sat at the bar on a Thursday evening and it was not crowded at all. A very cozy and intimate dinner spot right in the middle of downtown Macon. I love risotto so I tired the Risotto and broccoli with a salmon filet. Perfect portion size, very filling. I was pleased with the menu options and I will definitely be back to try more options. The bartender made me the most delicious Sangrini, also tried the Pear Martini, which was equally delicious."

"This restaurant offers outstanding customer service! The staff was well-informed about vegan options and provided numerous recommendations. The tofu was incredibly crispy and full of flavor. They mentioned that the tofu is made fresh to order, and you can truly taste the difference! The fries were also deliciously seasoned and flavorful. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and will definitely return. There are plenty of menu options to choose from, including popping boba green tea, slushies, tacos, noodle bowls, burritos, and spring rolls. Plus, there is seating available!"

"here have been several paintings, each time hope that it will be good. if it's good, it's great. but in the rule it is not. whether it is because they simply don't have something bad customer service, the wrong ordering or missing part of an order, or absurd waiting times, it seems that this location only can get together. this is absolutely a management problem, because I have never seen a place that could be as good as ever. I will also literally not go even during the last hour because they simply stop cooking things, which means they pick up from the rest that nobody else wanted, or they must wait 30 minutes until they order it freshly. I don't even go to the business to order more because they just have to wait in the sound so they may not have what they want. placing an order online can be better, but it is not in the rule, as there is a 50% chance in the round that they either miss something or get the wrong thing. gott help them if they want to order several plates with certain combinations, because they are absolutely easy to throw together, despite their order. with other words, if they are an order for several people, I would strongly recommend avoiding this place unless their employees are coolly devastated to each other and later enticed, as the half of the things on the wrong plates."

Something I wish I knew before I chomped down. Also, no utensils or napkins, also requested. This is my first time ordering here. And my last, food on these apps is overpriced as it is, so to be missing the main component to my dinner salad is disappointing. The salad was mediocre but enjoyable and decently priced. But would not eat here again, thru app or in person."

"today sat 4-12 and bought 2 meal times. a meat salad with mac n cheese, cabbage, roll and the other was a fried chicken breast, with jalapeno paprika and cornbread. eating is/was delish, it is true to cook home. the young lady who prepared the teller was friendly as she smiled and made small talks with those in the line. it was my first visit. So I made a few things annoying as if I were back to the lady who made my teller after the cuckling at the front. Unfortunately the two children were rude at the front. not because of what they told me. but what they didn't say. I was not greeted, I was not offered any help when I looked at the dessert, I said it was my first time, and I did not see any prices for hot eating or dessert. they kept convot about the weight of young. that is inappropriate when they have a customer. I also tipped her, but it was unnoticed. I'm glad to be greeted and perhaps even said thank you for coming or something where I spend my money. but eating was 5 stars. I'll try them again. the next time I will not tap the sides at the front when I am treated like that."

"Made a stop here on my way back to Emporia, KS. My wife got sick in New lennox, Illinois(southwest Chicago) after eating some raw shrimp for the memorial day weekend at my moms place for the family get together. So me and the kiddo went here after booking a stay in the comfort inn and suites in Macon, Missouri (great hotel). To be quite frank : I was looking for good food. The food here was great . However, I did NOT feel welcomed eating here at all. My son is white and I am brown (mixed family). We had to wait about three to five minutes to be seated when there were plenty of workers on stand by not doing anything. On top of this, we did not receive any type of thanks for visiting when we left. Do not visit this town if you are part of the LGBTQ community and do not eat here.. It's sounds really bad but I don't feel like I would of been safe bringing my wife here. However, like I wrote before the food is superb but I won't be visiting again."

"Not sure if we caught them on a bad night, or if their struggles are a regular occurrence. They were out of several sides (or in some cases, key ingredients of some sides such that they couldn 't be prepared normally) but that wasn 't apparent until after waiting over 20 minutes in line to order food leading to frustration and hurried alternative selection. I ordered the Smokey Appleation burger it was a good burger (served with a mountain of tater tots) but far from spectacular. I went to get more BBQ sauce at the counter, and was told We don 't have BBQ sauce . After clarifying that I had just received a burger with BBQ sauce on it, I was then told oh, well we ran out . That same attitude was apparent in most of the staff not a particularly warm bunch of folks. Could have just been unfortunate timing on a busy night, but definitely a less than stellar experience."

"Service at this location was awesome. I had the Southern Style Chicken Street Tacos to try something new and they were amazing! It is lightly breaded chicken with Mexican coleslaw, chipotle Mayo and jalapeños. The chicken was so tender and all of the flavors together were the perfect combination for me. I usually get a burrito because I’m a creature of habit but these were so much better. All the kids left with a balloon and a bag of Teddy Grahams too."

The ambience and facilities are equally as great- cozy, clean beautifully decorated. $165 tab with appetizer, meal desert, but worth every dollar. You can dine for less, but we had the Chilean Sea Bass special of the day- delish! We'll be back!!"
