"This was HIGHLY recommended to us by a local Maggie Valley resident so maybe my expectations were too high. ???? I thought about trying the Shrimp and Grits, but just couldn't because of the $18 price tag. I'm local to this area, not a rich tourist! Had the fried chicken breast sandwich and paid the upgrade for fries and asked for extra crispy. Longer wait for food than expected. When the food was delivered I was SHOCKED at how small the piece of chicken was! The fires were well done, but fewer of them than I thought there would be. Also, they have no honey mustard sauce. The fries looked seasoned, but didn't taste it. It was just kinda bland all around. My partner's turkey sandwich with bacon had an impressive amount of sliced turkey on it, but he agreed didn't really taste particularly outstanding. We probably won't go back for $30. We much prefer The Buttered Biscuit..... and they have GREAT salads, too! REALLY wanted to love it because of Jason Momoa visiting twice, but alas! ??"
