"This review is for their lunch buffet. Cozy restaurant in central Mankato. Started with an undistinguished bowl of beef barley soup. The buffet is basically four premade salads and a selection of sandwiches. The Caprese salad was nice, but would have beenmuch more colorful and tasty with locally grown tomato varieties. Likewise, the fruit salad should have had fresh watermelon(which is now at its peak). The sandwiches were quite good, especially the Reuben. I also tried the Cuban and the fish slider.Desserts are not included in the buffet, but are available separately, and they are beautiful. One extra star just for thedesserts. I had the chocolate cheesecake, which had a superb balance of light sweet toppings and rich dark filling. My slice ofcake was a delightful construction of flavors."
