"Sunday Fried Chicken after church! Woohoo! Chicken was crispy tasty. Hubby had the 3 piece meal (breast, leg, thigh, mashed potatoes, country gravy, fries a roll and I had the 2 piece meal (thigh and wing, mashed potatoes, country gravy, corn on the cob a roll . Both meals were good. Chicken was crispy and moist. The thighs in both meals were a little greasy than our taste but the other pieces were great. I would have preferred a little more seasoning in the breading. Corn on the cob was juicy, no additional butter was needed and I got the last one available, so obviously an item in demand. Staff was friendly, and the inside was clean, including the ladies restroom .There is a small banquet hall in the back for large meeting parties (up to 50? and they also offer catering. Ice cream and cobbler are also available for dessert. I will stop by again when I am coming through town on business, plenty of room for parking, including large trucks on the side of the restaurant.
