"I think it's worth reconsidering the way the kitchen is managed when takeout orders are prioritized over customers who want to dine in. Waiting an hour and a half for fish and fries seems excessive. That said, our server was fantastic and genuinely apologetic for the kitchen's clear issues, so I can't hold her responsible for the situation."

"The waitress was amazing. She was the only one working today waiting tables and they were busy. She still kept a very pleasant, positive attitude. We are from down state and have a cabin near Baldwin (come up here every other weekend) and used to frequent Barski’s. We had very unpleasant experiences there twice in a row with wait times and attitudes from their wait staff so we decided to give Common Grounds a try today. Very much worth the drive! We will for sure be returning. Food was great as well! Thank you for the great experience! Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly environment during the day while we were there. They provided our son with a coloring page and crayons and the waitress was friendly to him and interacted with him as well."

"I was very impressed by Jennifer's cute restaurant. The bread and food was so good! She made a pig pancake for my daughter and made her feel so special. I had the corned beef hash and I couldn't eat it all cuz the portions were so big! Definitely worth the stop, if I'm ever in the area again we will be back again."

"This place is fantastic! I received excellent service, and the food tasted amazing. Their home-cooked meals are exceptional. If you find yourself in Mesick next time, you absolutely have to give it a try. They have recently gone 100% smoke-free as well!"
