"We went at 6:00 and it was pretty busy, that was my first time here. Our waitress had a full license plate and could still take care of us without any problems. We both got the chicken fried steak, I decided for the call that was a dollar more and it was worth it! Genuine potatoes and engraving, with a few crisp fried Okra. The strawberry daqarie met after a long hard day of work at our non-profit reptile rescue Living Wild Outside. Def recommend this place and will be back!!"

"Brazos is one of my favorite stores in town. The workers here all bring something unique to the table and their menu is un-replicated. They hold food choices that have something for everyone and their specials are tempting. What I also love is that they have a store section where they sell a lot of local items that help boost the economy in town. Its a great place to eat, hangout with friends, and get some gifts while you're at it! Brazos in Mineral Wells Downtown is the place"

"WOW! From beginning to end, what a wonderful experience! My husband and I were warmly greeted by several employees at the entrance. Our order was accepted to ensure that we had answered questions and had everything we needed. We filled out our drinks, chose our spices and once we had a place on the table we chose, our name was called and our order was ready! Our food was hot and fresh! The chopped Brisket was tender and so tasteful, the baked beans were covered with pulled pork and tasted amazing, but the baked Tater Salat was the star of my lunch! My husband definitely enjoyed the banana pudding! We will be back soon!!!"

"I had a grilled cheese that was brilliant, someone with the group had a triple burger with bacon that looked heavenly! And my guy had a burger with Jalapeños he enjoyed. The bag of chips was really big so two people could share a bag. The stand seat on the back has to be restored as the upholstery around everything is left. But the food and the waitress were great!"

"Enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Happy Days Diner this morning. Had to walk ten blocks to the downtown area to find breakfast and was pleasantly surprised to find this nostalgic, attractively appointed eatery. Alisha Alton, the owner, was my waitress. The eggs were cooked perfectly; hash browns were not greasy the texture taste were on target; plus the sausage patties were good. Coffee was hot, served in a big mug hit the spot. Breakfast lunch are served all day and this 50’s themed diner features Henry’s homemade ice cream. It’s a hidden jewel and even the bathroom displayed items from the past including a James Dean movie poster in German. Guten tag."

"Drive home from our long and crazy cabin trip we decided to stop at Wendy's food before we return our long journey home. The food was delicious! Wait? No!!! "Was very disappointed. Service was good but the food was not what I was expecting. Why is it when you go to a fast food place in a smaller town, the food is never as good as it is in the city? My favorite in San Antonio was Golden Chick but I just moved back uo here and this Golden Chick has a lot of work to do. The tea was good, the fries good but would've been better if they had been hot and the chicken sandwich, the main part of my meal was horrible. The bun was hard and darker then it should be. The chicken crust not crispy like it should be and don't even get me started on how much gristle it had. I've eaten a lot of Golden Chick and this was the only time the food has been bad. Don't know what they are doing different from the ones in San Antobio but I will not be a returning customer. If this town knew how good its suppose to taste I promise this place wouldn't be in business."

"First time I've been here and it was Wednesday night. Old baker and old fashioned drink specials $7 all night. Old Baker is probably the best bourbon drink I've had, and this is someone who loves whisky and has been on the Bourbon trail of Kentucky. The pecan infused ice was a nice touch, and those Luxardo cherries. The cool looking bartender guy was super nice. Definitely recommend you check it out!"

"This chili is smaller than other chili, but it's not bad. It has a crash as it is smaller than others, it does not offer anything else to do, and it is always packed. There is always a wait to come there unless U go on a weekday and the hours whe. Children are at school n most are at work lol except that there is always a waiting line there. Waitress was very kind and did great."

"First time here and we LOVED it! Our waitress was fantastic, food was perfect… it’s rare everyone in our family all will agree and love the food at a restaurant… the Pizza is homemade- the crust has the soft but chewy texture you look for in authentic-style pizza “personal” size was also generous! Chicken Alfredo was top notch, the spicy style rose/pink/wine sauce forgot the exact name! was delicious and I used every bite of their yummy garlic rolls to eat it up! Side salads are also a good size- and fresh. I only wish we had tried this restaurant earlier.. we’ve been missing out! We will be back!"

"On March 6th 2024 I ordered pepper chicken and Mongolian beef. 8 hours after eating I got very sick. I didn't think anything about it. The next day I ate the rest of my food and it made me sick again. I called to let them know and I didn't ask for anything, but just wanted to let them know and they didn't seem to care. You might not want to eat here unless you want food poisoning. Go to Ichibans next door . It costs a little more but the food is better and won't make you sick. That is all"

"I waited 15 minutes for my mobile order, which was supposedly ready before I arrived. The issue was that the lady at the register was having trouble with the customer in front of me. To make matters worse, I got snapped at by a team lead for not standing in the right spot for mobile orders. The only person at the counter was the lady at the register, and there were no signs indicating where I should be. The app also instructed me to speak to the person at the counter. I'm really disappointed—come on, Whataburger, get it together!"

"We visited this place last week. The waitress was rude and argumentative. We got Dr. Peppers to drink and they were flat. The owner checked it and said nothing was wrong with it. So he's calling a potential customers liars. We went to order I food and I wanted an extra side of beans. The waitress rudely said It only comes with two side. I was like I understand that can I have an extra side. We shortly got up and cancelled our order and will never return."

"We were on a road trip coming up 77 and looking for something not fast food, but hand-held. Pete's was a fairly quick stop. If you give yourself time for them to prep, you can stop in, pick it up and get back on the road. The calzone was really good and enough for three people. Wings were great. "When I first went there, it was terrible. My burger was so dry, and my ice could not fall on the head what they do, but now there are new management. Positive employees. "My husband, sister, brother and I surprised our dad on Father?s Day weekend and went to this place for lunch on a whim. I?m picky about bbq, and these guys went above and beyond with how pleasantly delicious the food is! The portion size was great, so much so I couldn?t finish mine! I had the catfish platter, and it was so amazing for only $8.99! The sweet tea was done right, it was strong and sweet enough to appreciate the actual tea taste, squeeze a little bit of lemon and it was perfect for the hot summer day out! We were all purring the time we left, will definitely come back to this place! I would recommend this to anyone!"
