"Good drinks, popcorn chicken, and Wi-Fi.Negative feedback: Many of the tables were sticky or dirty. All of the outlets are so old and loose that plugs fall right out of them. The above statements make this an unideal environment to work in.Parking: Small amount of parking spaces"

"Went here for the first time this weekend and it was great! The outdoor space is perfect in that it's spacious, so if you're worried about being far from other people during COVID, it helps bring some peace of mind. The food was solid and the drink selection was good. If you're in the area, I would recommend a visit!"

"Just had an outstanding Thai meal at this restaurant. I would rate it as the best Thai we have eaten (and we travel extensively). The service too was excellent. Don't miss this place if you are in town. We are staying 1 night and I am so glad we found this gem. Caution, the spice level is authentic so a level 3 is super spicy. We eat spicy and found it hot but it was so worth it. Next time I would order a level 2 spicy."

"First time here.. This is definitely a comfort food place. I placed my order online for pick up and it was super convenient because I skipped straight to first in line. I ordered a pastrami sandwich and a steak sandwich with a side of onion rings $31) and it was worth it. The onion rings were amazing just wished I would've got ranch. The sandwiches were also a 10/10. Parking was relatively easy since you can't eat there."

"We came to this place for a meeting. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very nice. The crew welcomed us with a smile and we had a fantastic feeling. The meal was delicious. We enjoyed every moment and we shall definitely come back again. Keep it up."

"I've visited here numerous times, and will keep coming back. The food here is cooked to perfection and I can pretty much guarantee you won't leave here hungry. You get hearty portions of food here. Plus the employees have been very courteous and helpful with the various menu items. The place is clean and workers make periodic rounds keeping it clean. It's a pretty big menu so no doubt you will find something to liking. I had the chicken and fish on my last visit and you get rice and macaroni salad. You also get sauces to go along with the fish and chicken--excellent dipping sauces. The meats were cooked to perfection and the sides were also great. This place is located at the northeast corner of Riggin St and Atlantic Bl. If you happen to be in the Atlantic Square, you will have to park to the north or east as the restaurant is at the very property edge/corner. I rate this place a solid five stars for great food and service."

"I wanted to pick up an Eats order that my daughter bought under her name. When I asked for food under my daughter's name, one of the crew members checked that they had it, but the manager came in and refused to give it to me because I got one of them wrong on the entrance. I offered them the card to show that we bought the food and she always said that it was not the right order (because I said that an article is wrong). the manager was rude and has to work on their customer service. later my other daughter went in and said the same name and they gave her the food. After my daughter had already eaten in her hands, she showed them the verification code. this manager said that all they needed to see, but what is there to see if they already gave the food to my daughter before they checked the review? she kept my daughter on the situation when she was obviously injustice. anyone can steal from this place when he says the right name. if I could rate this place, I would rate it a -5 star, but I couldn't have since to evaluate, they need to give at least one star."

"This location is fairly new. The furniture already has damage to the seating. The food was correct and hot. Very delicious and the service was quick and rapid upon ordering. This location has exceeded my expectations from a prior disapproval. I like the seating just really cold with the AC blasting especially when it was pouring out. I will return with good expectations for a good meal once I return again."

"I haven't been to Luminarias in years and I must say things have changed in a very good way. My family and I went here for a Sunday brunch and the weather was beautiful. There was music, and a lot of beautiful couples and families enjoying each other and the bottomless mimosas which is a must! Our waiter Andrew the Angel I call him was so kind and helpful. There was about 13 of us and he made sure to be there whenever we needed him and got all of our orders right. His service was impeccable give this man a raise! Andrew also knew his stuff. I noticed this place looked very familiar to Castaway in Burbank which my family and I went last year at the same time. So I asked Andrew if they had same owner and he said yes the owner was a pilot and every location he created had a rooftop view of the city. Now that he told me of the other locations like In Long Beach etc I can't wait to go. The food and drinks were delicious! As I said we all had the bottomless mimosas which included Pineapple Jalapeno, Dragon Fruit Watermelon, Fresh Cucumber Mint, and the Lavender Activated Charcoal Lemonade which was my fave. For food we had the Crispy Brussel Sprouts, Beef Birria Empanadas, Cheese Charcuterie board, Chilled Oysters, Guacamole, Caesar Salad, Wedge Salad, Bacon Flight, Fried Chicken and Waffles, French Toast, Steak Frites, and we even received a complimentary birthday cake for my mom. All the food was good, I had no complaints. It was a great experience and I can't wait to be back. Summer is here and the sun is finally out to stay so I would definitely check this place out if you haven't already."

"Thai tea lover here. Remember, I'm on the hunt to try them all lol. This place was cool. Nice, small, clean boba shop. I ordered the Thai tea, No sweet, easy ice. Large. I really like that they only use the Thai tea and whole milk. I don't like it when it's mixed with sugar. It had a good taste. Only downside here was the price. $5.75 a bit much for me. Did I get what I paid for? Yes. Will I be back? Probably not. I travel all of socal for work so I want to try all the shops. This place wasn't a big wow but it wasn't a disappointment either. Plus I'm not a hater so I'm leaving 4 stars. Go check them out for yourself. Keep up the good work. Ps: they have 3 sizes. Medium, large and I think xl."

"I love nbc (the canal, but I love the restaurant even more! Every time we visit our grandparents, we tend to eat in a few places, but primarily NBC Restaurant (not that we complain! . Even when we came lunch after Thanksgiving, we did not really stop at the food. Now the details... the restaurant itself is HUGE and there are tons of tables. It looks good, but due to its size, the sound can somehow become loud. On busy days, although it's big, it can wait a bit. However, there is a reason for this waiting, and it is the upper Notch Dim sum. They have a great variety, and a ton of cars are going around. We literally had 3-5 dishes after we had set ourselves (see courts below). Food quality and price overcomes the noise problem. From previous experiences, dinner is also good. They have a spectacular crab shell where there are bright lights in the crab shell for the eyes! NBC is so versatile."

"How in the world did we step into one of the best noodle shops in the area? It felt like home. I’m currently in a food coma as I write this. The owner is very sweet and immediately welcomed us in, encouraged us to order first while we waited for a table. My husband and I order their pho and bun bo hue. We also got complimentary egg rolls, which were delicious. Hands down one of the best bowls of bun bo hue I’ve had in a long time. It’s one thing to get a good meal from a restaurant but it’s another to have one where you feel like you’re in your family’s kitchen. Incredible service and a hidden gem!"

"It's been a while since I found Hong Kong Cafe where they served this baked pork chop with tomato sauce. Their Chicken/porkchop steak menu is also good. The baked pork chop with cream sauce however is not good, kind of blend. But the biggest problem is maybe not the restaurant itself, but the server. The server unfortunately, did not give us a receipt after we are done eating. He just told us the amount that was owed to us. The amount is correct, but I just have suspicion that the server was trying to pocket the money himself instead of reporting the income to the owner. Or maybe he is trying to avoid paying taxes. Either way this is dishonest and kind of left a bitter feeling for me."

"had a great experience trying Burmese kitchen in asia and I somehow missed it. I was pretty excited to find yoma myanmar through yap! it took us some time to find out what to order, some dishes are only available at the weekend, but the owner was nice, they offered other suggestions that proved to be really good. we chose fried samusas, mohinga nudelsuppe, shan nudeln and yoma chicken rice. fried samusas are similar to Indian fried samosas, but with a delicious dip sauce. I liked the sauce, it was lightly spicy and with a good amount of acid. the samusas had a big curry potato filling and flaky outside, probably one of the best I had. the mohinga nudelsuppe is a fish soup w/ noodles, it came w/ two crispy toppings (dried fish paved veggies w jalapeño,) which added a nice change of the texture to the taste. the fish soup was dense and rich, and they can still taste some fish pieces in the soup. I loved honestly that it had several different textures in the suppe that reminded me of some dishes I had in chiang mai. really good taste. the only conus would be the saltiness, it felt quite hard to finish the whole suppe. shan nudeln is the court that the owner recommended us. it is easy to relatiw, simple, but surprisingly delicious! make sure to mix the noodles w/ the sauce and to sleep thoroughly before eating. so good! the yoma chicken rice tastes similar to Indian chicken curry, the aromatized rice was good, and the huh was well cooked. a total of 4.5 stars. loves this family-run restaurant. authentic Burmese cuisine in la. good portions, reasonable prices and amazing aromas. we have enjoyed our first experience in yoma myanmar, will return soon."

"I absolutely love Sushi Sai. The prices are very reasonable for quality Japanese food. I've only been during the night and I got the shio salmon with sashimi meal which is $16 before tax and tips. It comes with grilled shio (salt salmon, a generous portion of fresh sashimi, salad, miso soup, and rice. My boyfriend likes their udon and soba and says it tastes very homey and comforting. He gets the udon and California roll meal and it's only $12. Their lunch menu is even a better deal. I've never been during lunch, but the combos look similar to dinner for $2-5 off. I always feel full and satisfied coming to Sushi Sai. : The owner is also very friendly! I can't wait to come back more and try most of their menu."

"I grew up eating here changed a few owners and the new owner still continue with the low prices for lunch and dinner. It's hard to compete in the area when prices are inflated and keeping cost down to make a living so eating cheap is the way to go."

"Best beef noodle soup that is sanitary! I say this because there are some very yummy shops in SGV for beef noodle soup but your stomach would not appreciate them. Really generous with the meat and tendons. The broth is amazing and tastes super authentic. There can be a wait if you come around noon on weekends where they get the lunch rush. I would come here right after they open to dodge the wait. I overheard roughly 30 minutes wait when I was leaving so not sure how bad it could get. They also accept Apple Pay, credit cards, debit cards, and obviously cash. I genuinely love this place!! They also have 椰果奶茶(coconut milk tea?? that tastes reminiscent of 五十嵐in Taiwan (50 lan/Wushiland, but the coconut drink isn’t sold in their US locations . A bit sweet but maybe they can adjust it down. I just watered mine down and it tasted great."
