"I haven't been to Luminarias in years and I must say things have changed in a very good way. My family and I went here for a Sunday brunch and the weather was beautiful. There was music, and a lot of beautiful couples and families enjoying each other and the bottomless mimosas which is a must! Our waiter Andrew the Angel I call him was so kind and helpful. There was about 13 of us and he made sure to be there whenever we needed him and got all of our orders right. His service was impeccable give this man a raise! Andrew also knew his stuff. I noticed this place looked very familiar to Castaway in Burbank which my family and I went last year at the same time. So I asked Andrew if they had same owner and he said yes the owner was a pilot and every location he created had a rooftop view of the city. Now that he told me of the other locations like In Long Beach etc I can't wait to go. The food and drinks were delicious! As I said we all had the bottomless mimosas which included Pineapple Jalapeno, Dragon Fruit Watermelon, Fresh Cucumber Mint, and the Lavender Activated Charcoal Lemonade which was my fave. For food we had the Crispy Brussel Sprouts, Beef Birria Empanadas, Cheese Charcuterie board, Chilled Oysters, Guacamole, Caesar Salad, Wedge Salad, Bacon Flight, Fried Chicken and Waffles, French Toast, Steak Frites, and we even received a complimentary birthday cake for my mom. All the food was good, I had no complaints. It was a great experience and I can't wait to be back. Summer is here and the sun is finally out to stay so I would definitely check this place out if you haven't already."

"had a great experience trying Burmese kitchen in asia and I somehow missed it. I was pretty excited to find yoma myanmar through yap! it took us some time to find out what to order, some dishes are only available at the weekend, but the owner was nice, they offered other suggestions that proved to be really good. we chose fried samusas, mohinga nudelsuppe, shan nudeln and yoma chicken rice. fried samusas are similar to Indian fried samosas, but with a delicious dip sauce. I liked the sauce, it was lightly spicy and with a good amount of acid. the samusas had a big curry potato filling and flaky outside, probably one of the best I had. the mohinga nudelsuppe is a fish soup w/ noodles, it came w/ two crispy toppings (dried fish paved veggies w jalapeño,) which added a nice change of the texture to the taste. the fish soup was dense and rich, and they can still taste some fish pieces in the soup. I loved honestly that it had several different textures in the suppe that reminded me of some dishes I had in chiang mai. really good taste. the only conus would be the saltiness, it felt quite hard to finish the whole suppe. shan nudeln is the court that the owner recommended us. it is easy to relatiw, simple, but surprisingly delicious! make sure to mix the noodles w/ the sauce and to sleep thoroughly before eating. so good! the yoma chicken rice tastes similar to Indian chicken curry, the aromatized rice was good, and the huh was well cooked. a total of 4.5 stars. loves this family-run restaurant. authentic Burmese cuisine in la. good portions, reasonable prices and amazing aromas. we have enjoyed our first experience in yoma myanmar, will return soon."
