"This steakhouse used to be our go-to favorite, but the downtown Fort Worth location is showing its age and doesn't compare to other restaurants in the area. The food was mediocre and my Rib Eye steak was very tough. The restaurant just feels outdated now. Even on a busy Friday night at 7:30, there were empty tables, indicating a decline in popularity. We won't be making the 27 mile drive to this restaurant again. Bob's in Grapevine is a much better option."

"I've been meaning to write this review since June 4th, when my family visited this charming restaurant after my sister's graduation. From the moment we stepped in, it felt like stepping into an Italian family home. We were warmly greeted and promptly seated, with attentive service throughout. Everyone, from the staff to the owners, made us feel incredibly welcome. It was reminiscent of visiting my Nonna's house, complete with lively conversation and laughter. Their hospitality alone would warrant a 5-star rating, but the experience only got better from there. My sister and I decided to venture out with our food choices, opting for dishes we hadn't tried before. Despite previous bad experiences at other restaurants with calamari, we bravely ordered it again—and we were pleasantly surprised. The calamari was perfectly crispy and tender, complemented beautifully by the sauce. It was a delightful start. Next, we tried the primavera, a dish neither of us had ordered at any restaurant before. The blend of fresh vegetables, meat, and sauce was simply exquisite—a harmonious combination that left us wanting more. If you're contemplating a visit, I highly recommend it. This restaurant exudes a cozy, homelike atmosphere that makes you wish you lived closer. It's a gem where hospitality meets exceptional food, creating memories akin to dining with family. "Bang for your buck! I ordered the calzone which was able to shared with my four friends, I believe all single plates give you enough for it to be shared. "This was my first time there, but it definitely will NOT be my last!!! When I walked in, there was a lady there who said it was her third time there. I ended up ordering the smothered chicken, fried chicken, catfish, fried cabbage, collard greens, yams, mac cheese, pinto beans, cornbread, rolls, peach cobbler, and banana pudding. Everything I ate was amazing!!! This will get through Monday. I am planning my return trip real soon."

"We really enjoy this place. The watermelon cocktail is delicious, as are the okra fries. The atmosphere is great, but man, is it hot outside. They used to have slow-moving fans on the table to keep flies away, wishing those were still there. They brought out the wrong burger but I ate it anyway. I usually order the Allie Mae, this was just a burger. Good though! They are usually busy, so expect to wait! It will be worth it."

"I chose to get the taco plate. You can mix and match if you choose. I had a chicken, a brisket, and a carnitas taco. A side of Charro Beans comes with it, and you can order rice, too. The tacos were pretty big, and I couldn't finish the tacos and the sides, too. Also got queso Blanco, which was tasty. The chips were freshly made. That's was a big plus. Tha beans were very tasty, and surprisingly, the rice was very good. This place reminds me of a beach cabana type spot. It's also right across the street from Dickies Arena. Very convenient. I'd recommend a stop, and it's worth at least consideration for a good lunch."

It's was always a good place to spend after a hard day of work, but here lately it feels like by 7pm we are being rushed out even though tables are empty and it is way before closing time 9p.m. The cashier could be a little more interactive instead of making us feel like we are a bother. So no ice cream for me. Gave it to my husband, there’s barely any toppings (except the f’n peanuts), there is EIGHT cherry stems and only 2 cherries, maybe one strawberry fruit. Extremely disappointing. Will not return to this location. If I can post the picture of the stems I will."
