Even though it was a very hot Saturday afternoon, we sat outside in the back of the restaurant and it was just divine. We love the seating arrangement. "I work not too far from Plume so we eat there fairly regularly. I 've never had anything I didn 't like! The Banana Chaat is so good. Their Appom and Naan are really good and the Pork Axione is one of my favorites! Do as they suggest and cross the damn bridge to go enjoy this little gem of a restaurant. "This was our third time visiting this restaurant. We made our reservation awhile ago. We enjoyed the food and service but the experience could have been better if we weren’t seated next to a supply area with staff constantly going near our table to grab supplies—the worse table in the patio. However the patio is beautiful. We had the lamb loin medium rare with goat cheese topping, potatoes and a couple of asparagus. The dish was very good. The cannoli dessert was okay."

"We visited on 11/3/2021 to celebrate my birthday and the food and service was excellent. We had the Ribeye with lobster tail, the Colorado Lamb Chops, and pork belly as an appetizer. The ribeye was by far the best steak I have ever eaten. I thought the rib cap I had in Vegas was the best, but this was even better! My friend absolutely loved her lamb chops. There is not anything negative I can say about this place! The wait staff were very attentive and courteous and they made my special day even better! I definitely will be back when we visit New Orleans again!"

"Ordered a medium rare burger, it came out very charred, the bun was soggy and the fries were stale. I don’t normally send food back but I could not eat that burger. My waiter was absolutely wonderful and sent the burger back immediately. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich instead. It came out under cooked and pink in the center. While I appreciate rushing my replacement order out, I couldn’t really eta it bc it was under cooked. The portions were very small for a $24 sandwich."

"Amazing!! Didn’t get pics of everything but everything was great! The raw oysters were big and tasty, the shrimp and crab bienville oysters were also big and delicious. The taste of Trenasse entree was EVERYTHING! It was a little bit of everything on the plate and it was all good and seasoned well. Then, the bread pudding *french kiss* I loved it all. "We had a very mixed experience at the Italian Barrel. We dined there on a Sunday evening. When the waiter came by we let him know that my wife was gluten free. We were very surprised to learn that the restaurant had almost no gluten free options. In addition they did very little to accommodate her gluten free diet, telling us that almost every menu item was preprepared in the kitchen with either bread crumbs or flour. We eat out often in Italian restaurants in the US and throughout Italy and almost never find a restaurant that does not have at least one variety of gluten free pasta. In addition, after we ordered our meal, my wife ended up ordering salads, we heard the waiter reading the specials to another table. We were never told of the specials.On the positive side the wine list, especially the wines by the glass is excellent. They have a wide variety of quality Italian wines. I ordered a ravioli dish which was very good. They were prepared perfectly al dente with a light, flavorful red sauce.While in New Orleans we ate at some of the city’s finest restaurants GW Fins, Galatoires, Commanders Palace, but the Italian Barrel had by far with highest prices of the group. With fewer courses and drinks our meal at the Italian Barrel was our most expensive of the week"

"I took my 77-year-old mom to Drag Brunch on Sunday. It was the most holy, sweet and uplifting experience! Each of the security guards outside the servers and hosts was friendly and accommodating. The show was very entertaining: Each performer had a unique style and knew how to work the crowd without someone feeling uncomfortable. The mood of the dining room was very high and conversations between tables were common. The staff was great to make group images for Diners, and the MC asked everyone about special occasions they celebrated and brought out personalized celebrity cookies during a break in the show. I haven't even mentioned the food yet, but it was excellent. I had heard good reviews of the food before friends, and we were not disappointed! Delicious! The actors were so nice to my mom and adapted their enthusiasm for their performances. We have wonderful pictures with them to remember such an amazing day! Anyone who enjoys unique entertainment and hospitality should immediately make a reservation for Drag Brunch, a Date Night or a fun group meeting at The Country Club!!"

"This was the perfect spot for brunch! The atmosphere was so cozy and beautiful. We ordered bottomless mimosas (which were strong), cinnamon pecan bacon , the country breakfast with a side of waffle.
