"Located in North Bethesda in a nice strip mall. I found this place by complete accident. My wife and I were looking to try someplace new and they had a Groupon+ offer so we decided to give this place a chance. This place is very cozy. Not too big and not too small. As you walk in you see all these pictures of famous people and politicians who have eat her. This was my first clue that this place must be good. Since we came for a late lunch and had not eaten yet that morning we were extremely hungry, so we did a quick look at the menu and ordered away. In the mean time they served warm complimentary raisin cinnamon bread. It was extremely good. I could of just ate that the whole time. We ordered the eggplant dip, wild mushroom pizza, ahi tartar, crab tower, tenderloin and salmon. About half way through we realized our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and there was no way we were going finish all this food in one sitting. The portion sizes are huge!! Anyway, everything was extremely good! The tenderloin was one of the best we've ever had. The restaurant itself is very clean and well maintained. As for our waiter Elias he did an amazing job. He was personable, friendly and got all our orders correct without having to write anything down which I thought was impressive. Can't say enough good things about this place. We hope to get back here soon. Keep up the amazing job Oakville!!"

"When it comes to customer service, Alex was not very interested in creating a memorable experience for the right reasons. Alex brought over water to our table. I thanked him and almost ordered my wine when he gave me a look before walking away that caused me to assume he was the bar back. 10 minutes pass, and no one came to greet us or take our orders. Finally I walk up to the bar to see Alex on his phone and talking with the bartender. I asked if anyone was coming to greet our table, and Alex just looked at me. The bartender said he was getting our drinks ready and would bring them over shortly. I was confused because no one had came to take our food or drink orders, so I told him we had not yet placed drink orders. Alex comes to our table soon after with an attitude. “What can I get you?” I greeted him and said, “Hi, How are you?” He replied by saying, “Fine. What can I get you?” (again with an attitude). I asked for his name, and he said it while rolling his neck as if I shouldn’t have asked. My friend then asked him why he looked and reacted toward me in that way and he continued with his attitude and over dramatized gestures. I asked him if anyone else could serve us. The assistant manager (who I originally thought was the bartender) then came over, apologized on Alex’s behalf, and created a better customer experience. I am not sure why Alex acted the way he did towards us when the restaurant was EMPTY. I don’t feel that we inconvenienced him in any way. Our reservation for 1:30pm Saturday, 8/13. Although the food was good, Alex did not make me feel welcomed, so I will not be returning."
