"Oh boy, a local gem! I'd seen the Afghan Kabob and Grill many times when I went to the grocery store, but only today did it occur to me to make a special trip to try it; and I am glad I did. It's unpretentious, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and WOW is the food good excellent, in fact. I had the Chicken Tikka Salad and a Diet Coke, as did one friend, and our other friend had a Lamb Kabob with rice and salad. The portions were generous and the price was fair. With a 20% tip, I paid only $15.98 more than fair. We shared a hummus plate for the table, and the bread was out of this world. I've had Indian naan many times; this Afghani naan was a bit different than what I'm used to, and literally I could have made an entire meal shoving it down my gullet, but I controlled myself.
