"I had no idea this gem existed in Northbrook. I found this spot from a Facebook group and this was recommended for good eats around the North Shore area. I had no expectations coming in and it was fairly easy to book a reservation on Open Table. They have tables for outdoor dining and plenty of indoor dining. I opted for indoor since it's was gettin later and more chilly. Scott was our server and he was so patient with explaining the menu and recommendations. He talked me into getting the raspberry margarita which was definitely unique since the drink arrived with just raspberry ice balls. Scott then poured the rest of the mixture into it so as the ice melts, the flavor is altered. Being the over-analytical planner that I am, I skimmed through the dessert options and saw that they had a pineapple upside down cake. That's not something that you see often so I had to strategize accordingly to make sure I had room for that. I skipped the appetizers and just went straight for the main. I ended up getting the bone-in prime rib. Scott explained that the meats are local grass fed and essentially the whole restaurant is pretty much farm to table. You can definitely taste the quality of the ingredients and everything was expertly prepared with such unique flavor combinations. I thoroughly enjoyed the bacon Brussels sprouts but the roasted carrots was definitely unique since it was served with honey and ricotta. Everything was so good and I happily savored every bite! I did make sure to leave enough room for dessert and I was so happy with the pineapple upside down cake! It wasn't overly sweet and the cake part was so soft and fluffy. It was everything I needed at that moment! This was just my first time here and I can't rave about this place enough. Looking forward to coming back here again really soon!"
