"the engl messingerie is one of the few restaurants that have very long opening times, it is located in the heart offenburgs in the main street, ecke waterstraße and offers a short before mc donalds the possibility to freeze the stylistic of the deftigen Alsace cuisine. the influence of the near elsasse is also in the appearance, he remembers more of the other side of the Rhine. lovingly decorated with a youth style facade on the outside and inside corresponding, it is a place of rest and well-being, feelings of holiday come up. straßburg is also really just a cat jump away. there are rösti in many variations, with champignons, meat, fish, with cheese baked, various lush salads aesthetically decorated. the warm seasoned in the whirlpool. meat dishes, baguettes for the smaller starving, all in it. they see what they eat, taste good. the portions are not too large, exactly right. as dessert apfelstrudel with vanilleeis, palladschinken, kuchen, eis, which is always prepared for the demanding gaumen joy, a daily changing lunch table is also offered. with drink they pay approx. 11€ 15€ to eat, the price level that I would assign to the middle area. music was in the barlounge style. a reservation can be made online at [hidden link] or by phone under the above number. I liked it very, eating was delicate, the environment very pleasant. the brasserie will choose again at any time and recommend it without thought. of hearts like, 5 stars."

"Quoc Thai Asian fusion type restaurant falls into fast food category (Schnell restaurant or Imbiss). But there aren’t too many Asian restaurants in Offenburg and therefore this is the place go to if you want Thai-type food. It is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at night. The prices are very affordable. Nothing goes over 9 euros. Those higher prices are for duck dishes or the food that comes on a sizzling iron plate. For such a small fast-food restaurant, the place has a good size menu. I think the taste varies according to what you order. We ordered chicken curry and lamb curry, both spicy. But, in reality they were not that spicy probably because they tried to balance spice with sugar. Both were too creamy, but I have had better food at this restaurant once before. So, I would not say that all dishes are like that.Positive things about the place: Cannot complain about the prices. You can check the website for the prices before going there. Appetizers are around 2.50 euros, soups around 6.50 euros, vegetarian dishes 4-5 euros, Vietnamese specialties are bit up, around 9 euros. There are also baked fruit (banana apple, pineapple) with honey as dessert. You get your food very fast, and it is tasty, for the most partNegative things: Since it is a little room when you come out of it, you smell like you came from their kitchen. The smell sticks to your clothes. (Of course, it is ok, if you can sit outside). The other thing that really turned me off was how unfriendly the staff was. The woman who took our orders had a frown on her face as if she was doing us a favor by giving charity food. No one seemed to smile behind the counter. Only when we left they said, "good bye", "have a nice day". But, it almost felt like a "Get lost”!"
