"I cannot recommend Palette Bistro highly enough. They hosted our COVID wedding/elopement in 2020, and it could not have gone better. Everything was coordinated via email (which can be difficult! , yet everything still turned out beautifully, andhonestly even better than we expected. They allowed us to have the entire upstairs private room for our event, with a stunningview of the water. The food was delicious, served timely, and exactly what everyone had ordered. The service itself was alsoincredible; the team was attentive, fast, friendly, and helpful. It felt like we had the entire restaurant to ourselves with thefocus they allowed us. The pricing was very fair, especially for the quality and quantity of food and care we received. We neverfelt rushed or like we were overstaying our welcome. "Nice restaurant in downtown Waloon on the lake. Our server Sam was really nice but it took a while for anyone to acknowledge us after we were sat. We sort of for the vibe from the entire staff that they didn't care all that much. Besides that it was agreat place. The food came out quickly and was really good. The brisket was incredibly tender and the cesar salad was good. Theportions were on the small side, especially for the sides but everything tastes great. If you're in downtown Waloon and lookingfor dinner this is a good pick."

"My boyfriend and I absolutely love coming here every time we?re in Petoskey. We?re frequent fliers and come every morning we?re up north. Personally, we love the self serve atmosphere. This place is BUSY. There?s never really a calm moment there and forhow chaotic it is, the staff kill it. Yes there is a wait. Yes sometimes they can get stressed. But they kill it. Food is alwaysdelicious and hot. Drinks are stellar. (Personal favorites are the Breakfast Plate, Lorraine Wrap, and French-toast plate.Turtle Mocha, and Autumn Sunset are the best coffees imo! You can definitely tell who come in and are not expecting self-serveand cleanup lol. My partner and I love helping. A lot of the diners help out each other too which I love. Cleaning up andoffering tables to others waiting, helping hand out items etc. We love that atmosphere. It?s busy because it?s good. It?s soworth the wait. We?re coming forever. Thanks! <3"

"My husband and I were in Petoskey for the night and decided to eat here and we are happy that we did it! I have the Blueberry Quinoa salad with the Bleu salmon for dinner and it was amazing. My husband got the Parmesan white fish with potatoes and a veggie and he liked it too. The atmosphere was beautiful and our waitress was very friendly. I recommend you try City Park Grill when you are in the area!"

"Stopped in randomly yesterday and we could not have been more impressed. The staff was wonderful and the drinks were awesome. The BA Manhattan on draft is killer, my wife loved her Bellini and Mike made me a mean old fashioned. Didn't eat but the food looked great. If you like a good craft cocktail this is your spot."

"Delicious! My husband and I were in town as part of a weekend trip and were here for their Saturday breakfast. It was certainly not disappointed! The food was fresh, the atmosphere was juicy and the staff was super friendly. I ordered the French toast with one side of blueberry pancake. The French toast was to die, and the pancakes were the perfect thickness with half crispy edges. I also tried a sweet roll-danish filled with cream cheese and blown my head. We will definitely come back!"

"We stopped here with our kids before returning home from the UP. Kids both got the grilled cheese $7-8 (they liked it) good portion. I got a chicken wrap $13, (it was ok, buffalo sauce, not my fav, and the chicken was cold), and Hubs got the BBQ combo, brisket/pulled pork/beans/slaw. Small portion, bland (but they do have different sauces to add some flavor), brisket was tender $22. Got the Texas Twinkies, jalapeño stuffed with brisket and cream cheese, wrapped in bacon. It was ok. 3 large jalapeños on the plate. Jalapeño wasn't smoked/cooked enough, minimal brisket $14. The atmosphere was good. Quaint inside, little shop, place to sit, clean bathrooms, big tables, good for any group. Service was great, nice lady. Pizza was unavailable due to staffing. This happens. Kid-friendliness: Good for kids Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of parking, ramp access"

"I have been wanting to go here for years, it was absolutely worth the wait. Not only do they have some of the best craft beers in the state, they have some delicious food as well. I had some of the best cheese curds, and literally the best buffalocauliflower I have EVER had. I appreciate they have some vegan options, that is important. I had a spicy black bean burger.Delicious. The beer garden is a brilliant idea. They were busy when I arrived, so I could go get a beer or two while waiting fora table. The whole place with the large building towering over you, is a sight to see. Great food. Great beer. A must stop whenexploring the northern Mitten."

"We came in for a beer. We did not order any food. They don't have a large selection of beer. We love that they let you take your beer to go in a cup with a lid. "We were excited to try after reading so many great reviews. We ordered the BBQ Chicken pizza and cheese sticks. We also asked for marinara sauce for the cheese sticks. Came out to $39 after tax and we added a $5 tip for the driver. Over an hour later weget get the food. No marinara sauce : which is a shame because the cheese sticks were dry as chalk and had way too much garlic.Took a bite of the pizza and immediately noticed the marinara sauce was in my BBQ chicken pizza??? I ate 1 slice and was readyto chuck it right back up. The cubed up chicken was barely hot and tasted like chunks of rubber. I check the receipt to see ifmaybe it was wrote on the ticket wrong and also noticed they decided to tip the driver $6 instead of $5? Didn?t bother callingback? Fast forward 6 hours I spent 2 hours on the toilet in the middle of the night and been burping up what I am going to callthe worst pizza I ever ate!!!"

"Unique lunch menu the southern chicken sandwich had great flavor but there was so much sauce on it the bread got soggy. Visiting Petoskey from the U.P. for the day, we came for a quick lunch with our 3 year old. "They overcharged on ordered items. Ordered our meal and while eating, I reviewed my receipt and noticed the prices where not correct. The large menu on the wall and the menu on the counter showed a price $1 less than the price I was charged for agrinder. The manager on duty was less than friendly when I discussed this with her and told me I would have to call the owner onMonday to complain, in the end she refunded me the amount overcharged. How many people though, do not look at the receipt tonotice they have been overcharged. This was not a case of the person at the counter writing down a wrong price, the price isauto generated to the receipt. A poor and deceptive way of doing business. The price on the menu should be the maximum pricecharged for each item. It was just $1 for me, but that dollar times how many items sold to others can be a large amount overtime, very deceptive."

"Husband and I traveled north of Cadillac for vacation and to see Petoskey. Love downtown and decided to swing into this pub for dinner while you walk the shops. What an amazing burger!! chair perfect while the juices in. Iced tea was delicious, it was smooth and not gritty or dirty tasting. Waitress was quick and answered questions I had about the surroundings and surroundings. The atmosphere was not too loud like a traditional pub, but quiet, relaxing and with a “Cheers” vibe, many seating for a comfortable experience. Will return when we're back in the area."

"We love Beards Brewing and try to go every time we're in town. You have a wide selection of beer and surprisingly ingenious food for a brewery! The whole building is really cool and has a very comfortable, welcoming feeling for it. It was too cold to eat outside, both times we were here, but we love to eat outside if the weather was more hospitable. Note: The food app is a little tricky (at least it was for me). If you order a pizza, it comes with a mouthwater 14” But it doesn't tell you that everywhere. I clicked on the only crust option I thought I had to get a 10” gluten-free crust and ended, instead. I really enjoyed it, but my husband complained all the time since he went all the other, beautiful 14" pizza chests since we went to haha. So do not select a crust option in the app unless you want gluten-free."

"bartender gave us our drinks and bill at the same time yesterday. I wanted to taste the food when a table was ready, but the gesture of the checks made us feel immediately as if we were not welcome. I'm not even worried that my drink tasted and served in the wrong ship, especially just about the setting we got."
