"Hubby and I came here on wimb as we are just driving through this small town. When we go out to eat, it's usually one appetizer, one entree, and dessert. We split the meal and always feel the right amount of fullness. Because the menu was not frivolous on food options, that's a plus. We decided to do a split on the meals. The fried pickles we got were crispy, although too salty. The ranch dip that came with it was good. Our entree was the surf turf with sautéed asparagus loaded baked potato. It just so happened that the cut of the beef was thick on one end and thinner on the other because hubby likes his steak cooked medium rare, and I like mine medium. So when he ordered it medium rare, it was cooked just the way we wanted due to the cut of the meat. Because of the seasoning on the steak, I didn't need the A1 sauce. The premium side dishes were decent. The banana pudding dessert was not extraordinary but good. The service was great. But dining at a local restaurant is always a plus."
