"Delicious! Classic Bayside tea; we had clams, scallops, popcorn shrimps, shrimp tacos, tuna and fish n chips. Everything is cheap and incredibly fresh. The children's meal is $5 and came with probably 8 or 9 roasted shrimps and zets, good for my 10-year-old. The building is buttery yellow and can be seen clearly by the Poquoson River. There are many open slides to park your boat for free and eat in the restaurant in early April. Summer time will probably be pretty busy."

"We love this place. Mt. Fuji Burger is all I ever get because it's amazing (minus the yucky Wasabi mayo), so I can't talk for the other food there. The fries have a bunch of them and they're really good at Ranch. Update: Had the fish and hacked to see and it was great! Comes with a load of well seasoned pommes, Hushpuppies and Slavs. Didn't like the Cole stole because it was made with a little horseradish. Yeah."

"This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Virginia because their food is authentic and not Tex-Mex as most of the local Mexican restaurants. You have a good lunch buffet that offers a variety of choices, for a reasonable price and the staff is great! Oh and strange enough... the hot wings... you have to try their hot wings... they are my Fave!!"

"I really wanted to love this place! A little hole in the wall diner with great service. It started out impressive with friendly staff. We ordered garlic knots for appetizer which were phenomenal. While waiting on our food I noticed several other customers coming in after us and getting food quickly. We however, waited forever. When we received our meals my fries were so overcooked and hard I couldn’t even eat them. Besides that our meal was delicious! We decided to order a slice of pie to share. It was small and just ok. This is when it took a dive into the never again will I eat here decision! Got our bill and we were charged $14.99 for that slice of pie!! That cost more than our meal! I could’ve got a premium desert somewhere else and had change left over. I’m still angry about it. I have never paid that much for a desert at any restaurant ever! I wanted to love this place, but after a long wait and excessive charges never again !!"

"Foor and service was good. Coffee was absolutely awful. Tasted like it had been sitting on a burner all day. They offered me flavored creamer (Coffeemate) but I drink my coffee black. Quality coffee doesn't need a bunch of cream and sugar to taste good. So I would not get that again. Though the food was good and service was friendly and fast. My son ordered the shrimp and grits and I ordered the 185 plate with French toast, bacon, eggs, and potatoes. That was a little pricey for what it is. Those ingredients are very cheap and the cooking methods are basic so not sure why it cost $14 or $15. I might return to try lunch at some point."

"Well prepared and well presented meals. Waiting staff was friendly, professional and effective. The only negative aspect was that the menu presented on Open Table was not available… I had my mind set on the duck, however, it was not one of the items in the current menu. The items in the current menu were largely different from the menu items on Open Table. That said, I would definitely go back and also would recommend this restaurant to others."

"My wife and I ate breakfast here when we were visiting family and we were both quite impressed. It's not a fancy place, but the food was great. I had the french toast and bacon, as well as coffee and it was one of the better breakfasts I've had in quite a while. The staff is very friendly and they get your order to you quickly while not making you feel rushed. And you certainly can't go wrong with being right on the water! If you're looking for a good breakfast I highly recommend Owen's."

"I give this restaurant threstaurant 3 stars for the fact that The Surfs up shrimp was most excellent. But only for that alone. However the hush puppies were still raw on the inside so they were very creamy and cakey. And the French fries were hard and overcooked kinda burnt. We also asked for light salad dressing or on the side but the salad was smothered and dressing. The person that took our order took a very long time to pay attention to us even when we came back in at the designated time we were told. Almost like she was annoyed. She never smiled at us not one time. not from the beginning or at the end. She didn 't even tell us thank you for coming, here 's your order order or anything nice at all or even have a good day. Nothing.... They even took 3 parties that arrived long after we were still sitting and waiting to and waiting to place it to go order. Those 3 parties even got to order at be served something before they would even take art order. We just sat at the table by the desk and look stupid but continued smiling. Both the waitresses called from across the room Would you like a table and we said no thank you we would like to place an order to go! Which in turn we were left sitting there Without placing an order and watching other people be served. Even though their shrimp was excellent it was actually a pretty depressing visit at this place. The food was unacceptable and we were made to feel out of place and quite frankly an inconvenience. Spending $50 on this type of experience is not something that we will ever do again."

"I tried Anna's after living here for years because I'm always hearing they have great food. I Took my family and the kids got burgers, I got a meatball sub and chicken Alfredo. The sub was just ok.. Chicken Alfredo was horrible, chicken was overcooked, I have had better Alfredo sauce out of a jar. The burgers came on sub buns because apparently they ran out of hamburger buns. I have to say I was very let down overall. The service was great however our server was wonderful! Pricing was a little high for the quality of food. I am one to go back if I get a response on my post and give it a second chance I would definitely change my rating. Full disclosure I run Marco's Pizza but that in no way affects my ratings. I absolutely loved Mama Mia and was very disappointed to see them close up. We all only get better by hearing the truths."

"Cleanest, most accurate order and freshest food from Wendys, which I visited in Hampton for 15 years. Mature staff....no false fingernails, no strange hairache, piercing cacheys, not high, no drug peddling, no smokers.... etc. You carry headgear, gloves, and see inside drive thru window!!!!...... no cups, lid, garbage on the floor!! You also keep counter and ice machine clean!!! Yeah... best I saw! Looks like my mother's kitchen..."

"I order from here quite often, and it's rare that I'm disappointed! I usually evaluate a Chinese restaurant based on their beef and broccoli, egg drop soup, General Tso's chicken, house special mai fun, and sweet and sour chicken. I give this place a solid 4 out of 5, although their sweet and sour chicken is lacking a bit. However, the rest of the menu is quite good and satisfies my cravings when I'm in a hurry. The staff are polite and helpful in explaining the menu items and portion sizes, and I've never had an issue with my food being undercooked or overcooked."
