"on a sunny Sunday evening we visited this restaurant. I generally try to avoid the rush times in restaurants, but this time we were fully guessed and there were problems with the orders. but in my assessment they should not play a big roll, because it was a nice evening and that was excellent to us. my choice was calf liver with pfeife in white wine sauce. to this were added rosmaringewürze, a little sweet and brot. it was just perfectly prepared. the pizzas were also very good; You can remember that the very thin but very large pizzas are served here, but then you can also be immediately cooled. the card is quite small to din hot. they will find pizzas and pasta dishes. but the offer is then bigger and better than you can see at first sight. for there are also 2 fish and 2 meat dishes offered daily, currently on sloping boards. also with the current desserts does not help the card, but they need to ask the personal. Today there were so delicious dinge like panna cotta and tiramisu. besides various ital. breakfast options are also offered. prices can be slightly higher for rheine than usual, but also directly at the historic market place. the spatial features are generally also very well accessible with a wheelchair etc. over a generous ramp, but sometimes, as today, comes with a table and chairs. in the inner are many tables infinitely accessible, but for other tables there is a stage. the toilets in the cellar can be reached by a spiral staircase. the opening times are not to be reproduced here in a few words/times, as it clearly shows the limitation of bar, caffeine and restaurant. the especially large cocktail card shows the interest in trembling and there they seem to deal with the time, very flexible. in the early afternoon there is a small break for the kitchen, but for that there are cakes in this time. the pizza times are different again and end much earlier than the warm kitchen. but, for me, they are very ready for customer requests; therefore simply ask. after some satisfied visits on the terrace I had now also the opportunity to use the interiors, and I noticed that both a large TV ran and the radio was switched on. for me, however, the rule is that I do not stare at a restaurant the best ratings when the television is running in the restaurant, and that would also apply to the end game of football, with the participation of the German manship."

"the restaurant is great. The food is very plentiful and tasty. I cannot understand some negative reviews from the past because the described history does not overlap with the actual history. For the most part, these reviews (because of my presence/activity were present in the restaurant simply lied and result from the unexistent common sense. In particular, I refer to the last two negative reviews. He had wrongly ordered the court Paidakia (grilled lamb collets via Deliveryando instead of the court lamb pan (grilled lamb fillet . Instead of reporting to find a common solution, instead tries to direct the debt to us. Through various current external influences, such as current inflation, businesses are forced to adjust their prices accordingly. I still do not understand the people who order ADDITIONAL things (such as additional chicken breast, liver, etc. , but do not want to bear the costs. I'm speechless and irritated. If something is more expensive than expected, there is nothing to buy it on cramp. Of course, mistakes can happen, which is also human. The restaurant owner is customer-oriented so that customers are also satisfied. However, this requires a message from the respective customers to act customer-oriented and to find a solution. Instead, some candidates prefer to embed their personal feelings into the keyboard and to describe some of them in a way that is simply wrong. There is no objection to constructive criticism and suggestions for improvement, and is welcome, but destructive criticism is not. This is simply business-damaging and tends to be a call murder. I wish that with this evaluation I will reach the special candidates and encourage them to reflect on their future actions. My humble opinion on the place."

"The weekend my wife and I spent on Ameland, the Dutch-Friesian part of the family. Despite North German (in this case North Dutch horror weather), it was as always nice to sniff sea air and hike all day over the beach. Little tip on the way, who is looking for a good restaurant on Ameland, go to Hollum and to the Aunt An .... on Saturday night for extraordinarily good! But back to the purpose of this contribution, we returned Sunday and arrived in Rheine in the evening. Fridge empty, stomach too. So go eat. The horror weather we had taken to Rheine, so no desire to drive by bike to one of our favorites. My wife suggested the Ristorante da Mario, right around the corner with us. I wasn't really excited. Since Mario is a typical Italian restaurant with pure pizza and pasta card. Since Mario opened in his present home about 2 years ago, and we arrived shortly after. And this visit was so that I had refused to return again for 2 years, while my wife was there more often. She assured me that I would see a positive development and, as my wife had made her decision, I added to my fate. A pizza shouldn't get so bad. The Ristorante is simply furnished. Carded red and white tablecloths with little decoration. It likes in simplicity, it is no longer promised to the outside than you want to be. Basic Italian, quite favourable, as the average German from the Italian would like. A Pils was quickly ordered and the view of the card revealed 5 appetizers, about 25 pizzas, about 25 pasta variations and three meat dishes of cattle, pig and poultry, no calf, two fish dishes, no daily ticket. In view of the 60 main dishes, it is clear that not only fresh ingredients can be processed. I had discovered an antagonism with the antipasti of the day, and these awakened my interest immediately visually and odorously. Appetizer was already set. My wife too. We chose Pasta as a second gear. The antipasti came, I had indicated at the order to leave the plate with Surimi unconsidered, my wife did not want mushrooms. Both worked. The antipasti offered us were able to convince. Fennel with sharp paprika, savoury onions, swollen radicchio as well as grilled paprika and eggplants are well prepared and marinated in neat olive oil. This course was really convincing in view of the price of 7 EUR. The main courses left a silly impression. My homemade spaghetti with olives, capers, tomatoes, anchovies could convince. Well-tuned flavors left a pleasant impression with the al dente boiled spaghetti, the called 7,50 EUR were a very good PLV. Less good the Rigattoni of my wife with tomatoes, eggplants and parma cheese. This was rather very thin tomato sauce with a few tastefully cut without influence Auberginenschnitzen, over which parma rubbed. Delicious of taste, not well prepared and tasted. Conclusion: it was better than my first visit, but not really a breakthrough that would let Mario get to the class of my favorite restaurants in Rheine! Photos have not taken, but I have taken steps to take photos of the restaurants that I value in Rheine, or their accounts here, including the da Mario ."

"I finally came to visit this little noble restaurant. this restaurant is not only known as an at work to the hotel, but it has long made the leap into the open restaurant of the upscale kitchen. And something up and down is also the surrounding area here: immediately after entering I was led to the reserved table and the coat removed and suspended. the menu may be a little short and meat-loaded, but also a vegetarian will fill here. delicious appetizers and dinners, as well as some selected desserts make the decision a bit difficult. but I chose my menu again from the seafood area and was rewarded with a delicious lobster bisque and a successful cable jaufilet. as a light dessert there was lemon skysssorbet filled with careless champagne. I was for my demand for a dry gray burgundy and also the one that was perfect. the small cozy waiting period before the menu was shortened with small baguette slices, gooseschmalz, crinkled cream and a very good very special olive oil. and despite the requirement that I would like to give up a supplement because otherwise too easy to fly the joy at dessert. the environment is somehow nostalgic rustic in the main room/inlet space and in winter it sits comfortably on the swinging open fireplace. there are, however, 3 separate gas chambers, which are also suitable for groups, so that there can also be a very private note. the entrance space is spacious and stepless, so that the somewhat narrow entrance area with the two wing doors is also easily accessible with a wheelchair, roller, children's car etc. the very spiced toilets in the cellar are only accessible via stairs. Finally, the prices are of course a little “higher” because it is simply no standard kitchen and restaurant anymore. the service was always very attentive and friendly. and it ran all fast and quiet, although it was very well visited by 18:30. Therefore, a table reservation is always recommended."
