"Didn't expect much when I got up. Just a little deli looking shop with a terrace. My family sat on the terrace. Excellent service, the food was delicious. The flavored teas were also worth mentioning. The best was the last... the butter cake! We decided because they were four of us to share a whole cake. "Great little place!. We were in the upper gorge and had a late start. Coming from the canyon we discovered this place and decided to give him an attempt. It is very small with seats only for about 20ish and another possible 10 15 outside. The service is great with very nice waiters and the prices are also quite good. I ordered eggs and bacon with toast and it was delicious. We enjoyed it so much that we came back the next morning and tried it again. This time I had the French toast and my wife ordered the Enchiladas and she said they were great too. We'll be back at any time. Great little find."

"This is by far the best breakfast in Ruidoso. Every time we are in town we have to eat here more than once. The buttermilk pancakes are delicious and their sausage links are the best I've ever tasted. There is always a line out the door, but it goes fast and the food is definitely worth the wait. Give this a try and you won't eat breakfast anywhere else!!"

"It is used to be called Koch Lupe, it is Garcia's, our server was super friendly, food was delicious I had Machaca con huevo, it comes with Mexican rice beans and you can choose from flour or maize tortillas. My companion had breakfast number 3, it had sausage,ham,eggs, waffle and hashash brown. Also order a sopaipilla for only 70 cents! Milk and coffee."

"An entire experience all on its own. The best burger we?ve ever had. Seared but yet juicy. Perfect explosion of flavor upon first bite. Passion for creating culinary delicacy out of something, one might consider, ordinary like a burger is easily perceived. The cheese to meat ratio was on point. The texture of the ground meat was something we?d never experienced before. Not over mixed to create a not so condensed texture. The steak fries were phenomenal. The perfect bonus was the variety of great brews to accompany a marvelous meal. We had the sandwich as well. Don?t believe other reviews about the best burger in town being in any other restaurant but here. Compliments to the chef. Sherry was an absolute delight to have as our waitress. Super knowledgeable and above par service. Tried several restaurants while in Ruidoso and this place stood out on every level even compared to the higher priced ones. Do yourself a favor and make your trip to Ruidoso complete by adding a one of a kind dining experience."

"Fluffiest pancakes ever!! Crispy Outer made her even more sober. Food portions made every penny share. Breakfast dishes beside the eggs were the perfect couple for an unforgettable breakfast experience. Patio area with beautiful mountain views creates a highly recommended place for breakfast. Also had French toast, but would recommend the dreamy pancakes completely. The best part of awakening goes to Lincoln County Grill for breakfast."

"We were greeted and sat immediately, I had bred my dog Mojo with me, so we sat on the beautiful terrace. The manager was so nice that he had brought my dog out of water in a clean dog dish, then the waitress came out and was on point throughout the visit. We thank the manager for coming and the food was excellent. I had the spinach avocado juicy burgers. Very beautiful place and the only pet-friendly place in the city"

"My husband and I were given a nice gift certificate to Michael J’s in December 2021. We live in Alamogordo and between our family functions held in Ruidoso, our busy schedule and the restaurants hours, I always found it hard to pick a day to make reservations. Finally, it worked out for our schedule but guess what? The gift certificate expired the very day I called to make reservations for the next day. It was our lucky day, they honored our gift certificate a day late. Since this was our first time to try this place out, we were so glad they did because we enjoyed a delicious wonderful meal with great service. We highly recommend this top class Italian Cuisine restaurant! You won’t be disappointed. We will definitely be going back to eat here again."

"After a 5-hour bike trip in Ruidoso we wanted a good meal and a cozy motel. We had no reservations and didn't really fit into the other clientele with our dingy riding clothes and sunburnt faces, but we sat immediately, tea and soda were fully held, the food was excellent (he had the chicken fried steak and I had a Sirloin) and the atmosphere was very nice. "Nifty spot that truly is hidden! Downshift Brewing company is the actual brewery inside that's now renamed hidden tap. It's back around the corner of the mercantile shop on the street side so easy to miss. Good craft beer selection, good ciders, nice variety of small.plates and bar food grubs that looked good getting brought out to other tables. We came for drinks only however. "We were starving and we wandered onto this little gem. The wait staff was so very friendly. Three of us ate the breakfast. I had the omelet. It was good. My son had the breakfast burrito and really liked it. My youngest had the kids pancake. They made them into Mickey for him. He loved the special touch. My husband had the hamburger. He said it was ok. We all ate for around $40. This is a good place to stop."

"Last stop and early morning breakfast before you travel back to Austin. See the reviews of this place and knew we had to try it! Got there at 8:00 and had their green Chile Omelette with a croissant and my friend had the rio rancho huevos rancheros with green Chile and we decided to share a berry crepe! He had morning coffee while I had her freshly pressed ABI. Everything was AMAZING! I really wanted to try green Chile before we left the city (as New Mexico was known for it) and that really hits the point. The OJ was also some of the best I had. My Bf is not the biggest crepe eater, but he loved the Berry crepe. The eggs in my omelet were so soft and padded and melted in my mouth! Coffee was freshly brewed this morning and my friend really appreciated it (as sometimes they serve a day old coffee and we appreciate when it comes fresh). I'm not much of a diner usually, but love to stop during road trips and this is definitely up there, like one of my favorites I've tried so far! They also had a wide selection of amazing pastries in their bakery. I hope to come back soon and try their gigantic Texas style cinnamon roll! The service was amazing and it was very spacious with its seating. We also got our food SUPER FAST. So amazing and fast service! Can?t recommend this place enough! The beautiful waitress faded my bf on his baby yoda Christmas sweater and he really appreciated it! Let a smile on our face as this was the last point we checked on our trip to Ruidoso! 5/5 stars!"

"Called to make a reservation. We were told that they would NOT take a reservation and that we could just show up. We did so promptly, within 15 minutes of calling, which the host had said would work perfectly. Upon arrival we were told that they could not accommodate us without a reservation, and that they were ?booked? for the rest of the evening. I double checked that we had called the correct number and had gone to the appropriate address. I?ve been in and out of the restaurant indicates for years, this is a new level of incompetence. The food may be good, I don?t know. But don?t waste your time or money here. They clearly don?t care enough about you."
