San Diego har en pulserende kulinarisk scene, kjent for fiske-taco, California burritos og håndverksøl, som gjenspeiler sin kystbeliggenhet og meksikanske påvirkninger.

"I've been coming here for years. I've never had a bad experience. Affordable sushi rolls that have never made us sick and taste fresh. Service is typically on point as well. Parking can be a you know what....."

"I was excited to try this spot based on all the amazing reviews. However, it was a shocking disappointment. I waited to be seated and no one greeted or acknowledged me for several minutes even though there were many tables open and it wasn’t very busy. I finally approached a woman who said I could sit wherever I wanted. Waited ~15 min to be greeted at table as well. For the price point, I was shocked at the food. I ordered quite a bit shakshuka, fruit bowl, side of bacon and tumeric latte. The shakshuka was pretty but not a shakshuka, just some eggs with diced tomatoes and red peppers. The fruit bowl had a hair, a moldy grape and leaves left on the strawberries. The bacon was so hard it was inedible. The latte was so sweet I had to water it down quite a bit to enjoy. My server was really nice once I got helped and she did take the bacon off the order. Maybe I ordered the wrong items? Overall, just an overwhelming experience."
"Stumbled upon this when in search of coffee. The lady wasn't the most approachable, didn't smile really. She recommended the Turkish coffee and it wasn't the greatest but I didn't say anything. She seemed bothered when I asked for 2 cups of ice water. The baked goods were not great. I found a piece of plastic like from a plastic fork in my cinnamon roll and my plastic fork didn't have any missing pieces. Will not return"

"Probably the best Sushi in the area. But so deceived to see the waiter with blood on her mask and it turned to be just a fake mask after asking if she was fine. I don’t see the point of the prank!"

"We often choose Panama 66 for dinner before attending plays at The Old Gobe. Always good food served fairly quickly. I didn 't give 5 stars across the board because that 's not the type of restaurant Panama 66 is. It does, however, deliver on expectations. It 's not fine food, but it 's very good food, well prepared. It 's not a fine dining establishment, but it 's a fun, festive atmosphere. It 's not white cloth service, but it is friendly service delivered promptly. Some summer evenings, when it 's busy, there can be a 45-minute wait, so plan accordingly. On our recent winter visit on a Friday evening, we had no wait at all. I ordered a delicious pulled pork sandwich with fries, and my friend had the Halibut dinner plate. Both were delivered in about 10 minutes, and both were delicious. We 're repeat customers who will definitely be back"

"The restaurant has some real potential, but hiccups like being served fatty and undercooked octopus, not being served one appetizer until the entrees were served, some menu limitations, and way too much noise (competing street musicians combined with the restaurant's own not the kind of energetic chatter that has become expected), combines to make this restaurant a low priority for a return trip. It is sad too, as it could have been wonderful..."

"I went to dinner at the La Jolla location and was told by the parking attendant that the location was closing its doors in 5 days with only a 6 day notice. to all employees and no job transfers to other location and droending on years served a maximum of $200. Some employees have bern with the company for over 15 years. How shabby. They have lost my business"

"First time visiting for dinner and it was a great experience. The restaurant gave off authentic traditional Japanese culture. It’s a small space with booths. Service from staff is good. Very attentive and friendly. There is also a button to click when you need service. As for the food, I had the Karami Signature and the Curry Shoyu. Each dish was delicious and I was wanting more but the Karami Signature was my favorite! I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quick bite of ramen."
"Service was amazing from the moment we walked in we were greeted by multiple employees. They were kind enough to let us sample the delicious Gelato. Once we got sampling the Gelato we picked our flavors and they did not hold back on the scoops. The Gelato is probably one of the best I had in the area."

"I give two stars not for the food or coffee, but for the atrocious and uncomfortable atmosphere created by an older, blonde man who I assumed to be the owner of Calabria. He certainly acted like he owned the place. My work session was interrupted multiple times by the owner being aggressively rude and demeaning to his employees right in front of me. I've always loved Calabria, but after seeing how the owner treats his employees, I cannot in good conscious continue to support this business. Four stars for the wonderful staff and coffee. One star for the incredibly rude, aggressive owner who showed an absolute lack of respect and common decency for his employees. It was really hard to watch."

"Above average food, everything thing seemed to be ala carte, no combo meals. Moderately priced bill was $14 and change for one, having a portabello mushroom burger(a little greasy, if I go back it would need to be well done) and substituted fries for onion rings and a drink. Not bad, just over the average tic but nothing to get excited over. Both male servers were nice and professional, manager and associate."

"We were here for a gathering of 10 ladies, and they put us on the heated patio with another group of 12-15. I couldn't hear myself think, let alone hear anyone else across the table from me, so it was like eating by myself in a very crowded restaurant. The food was good. I had the liver pate and the artichoke appetizer. The artichoke appetizer had a bit too much olive oil on it but was flavorful. Both the two together were perfect for a meal. The Tiramisu was the dessert of choice and what a good choice it was. The service was good even though we had a large party. They even gave us separate checks."

"I’ve been trying to get to WCT since the summer for my birthday. When my niece said she wanted to try some place new I thought here’s my chance. Our server was friendly, food was yummy, dranks were strong and the Music was on point! Me lovey"

"We made a reservation for a party of five and were seated promptly at a nice corner table. The restaurant and the adjoining brewery (Abnormal Beers) have a mid-upscale casual ambiance, which was exactly what we were looking for. The service was great, and we really enjoyed the Abnormal beers. Based on the reviews, I was excited to try their wings, but unfortunately, I was not impressed. The poutine was wonderful, as were the short ribs. I did not try their burgers, but they looked very good, and our friends raved about them. Overall, we were very happy and will certainly be back."
"Rosemonts Cafe is always outstanding, constantly exceeding my expectations every time! In an era of large corporate coffee chains where the practice of fast food and high volume seems to be the norm, Rosemonts Cafe distinguishes itself by being dedicated to meeting the needs of each individual customer’s wants and preferences. Their professionalism, knowledge, and friendly smiles fosters a family atmosphere where you may see people playing chess over a latte and breakfast sandwich or perhaps a table sipping a cafe latte while discussing the latest book they just read! One thing is for sure though. You will leave this locally owned business delighted that you you walked in!!"

"The owners (the ones that were working) were AMAZING. So kind. So helpful, we are new to town and they gave us tips to get around. He was waving to people outside, just very community feeling. Very affordable options. Food was great, we got vegan cheese and the gluten free crust…it was yummmm! 1000000% recommend! Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie toppings to pick from as well as vegan meat topping. Also salads! Dietary restrictions: They have pre made gluten free crusts that are made in complete gluten free facilities. He asked if it was preference or allergy. Kid-friendliness: Great atmosphere for children too. The owner was super kid to our three year old and made her feel super welcomed"

"The location we ate at was in Rancho Bernardo in Rancho Bernardo Town Center plaza on 6/30/2024. It was the first time we ate there but family has eaten there many many times. We had 4 wraps total and one kids plate. I had the San Diego style doner wrap with beef/lamb meat (think gyros), yogurt sauce, greens, tomato-cucumber, pickled onions, and with fries and feta cheese inside. It was one of THE best wraps I 've ever had. Very flavorful and filling; I could have easily shared one and still been full. The flatbread was soft and had a nice chew. The meat had a very pleasant oregano and garlic flavor typical of gyros-style meats. The greens, tomatoes and cucumbers were fresh and crisp. I really enjoyed the addition of the pickled onions. They were very tangy and a nice contrast to spices of the meat and yogurt sauce. It also had fries in it which were thin-cut, crisp on the outside and creamy on the in. The O.G. yogurt sauce was creamy with lots of garlic flavor. I also tried the fire chili sauce the cilantro jalapeno sauce. Neither was overly hot; I think they both fall on the mild side as far a heat goes. The fire chili was like a combo of their yogurt sauce plus a mild Sriracha style sauce. The cilantro jalapeno was like a wonderful pesto but made with cilantro and jalapenos. It was also much more creamy than a traditional pesto but also similar in a way. Both were very garlicky so if you don 't like garlic, I don 't think you 'd like any of the sauces. The others had similar wraps but with chicken and beef/lamb meat. The chicken was moist and flavorful. Next time I would get just that it was so good. On the kids bowel we had chicken, fries and a little salad. No leftovers! He really enjoyed it. Highly recommend overall for a quick meal in a pleasant atmosphere."
