"If it's February at East End of Long Island, the restaurant is not on Main Street, and you still have problems finding a parking lot, you know before you get in the door something good is going in here! And at Bell Anchor everything is food, service and ambience! Open about eight years; this is really a jewel sitting along Noyack Road with access to the bay and view. We started our enjoyable experience by ordering the Hone Port Chowder and dozens of Montauk Pearl Oysters for a dollar of any special. Your Chowder really belongs to the best I enjoyed creamy, briny, tasteful and velvety. Bacon adds a subtle smoky hint to the cream. The ro homes were juicy, fresh and served with a well prepared mignonette sauce. Our entrees included the Grilled Flat Iron Steak with sauteed spinach, fries and bearnaise butter and the fish of the day, a tile fish on a bed of Edamame, and seasonal vegetables served in a Chardonnay sauce. The meal was exceptional! Our biggest compliments to the two chefs here!!! And so we just had to try their desserts. Finally we ordered the Dreamy Brownie Sunday and Mandel Cake with Marscapone Cream. Then we drove to our car! In fact, this is a great restaurant to enjoy. Fortunately, they are open all year round and take reservations in high season. So if you have time to explore the eastern end before the commemorative day, put Bell Anchor in your GPS. Spend a wonderful day in Southampton and Sag Harbor, go around Trout Pond and cross the street to this beautiful restaurant. If you are lucky, Anne will be your server and take care of you!"

"Yesterday I had the unfortunate experience of dining at Tutto and I must say that it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've ever had. Not only was the wait excessively long. Even though I had a reservation, but the behavior of the manager left a bitter taste in my mouth.Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was informed of that they were running a bit behind. While I understand that busy establishments can have delays, an hour-long wait seemed excessive and poorly managed. The lack of effective communication and organization made the wait feel even longer and more frustrating. To make matters worse, the manager's attitude towards the situation was nothing short of rude and dismissive. When approached for an update or to express our concerns, the manager Jen displayed an utter lack of empathy and professionalism. Instead of addressing our valid concerns, we were met with condescending remarks “sorry I don’t know how I would feel if I was in your shoes because I’m not” and “sorry that you feel that way” and an overall apathetic demeanor. This behavior only exacerbated the frustration and disappointment we felt. When we finally got seated, the overall dining experience failed to compensate for the arduous wait. The quality of the food was average at best, and the service lacked the attentiveness and warmth one would expect. It was evident that the staff, likely influenced by the manager's behavior, were disengaged and disinterested in providing a memorable dining experience.A long wait can be forgivable if the restaurant makes efforts to rectify the situation and deliver exceptional service. However, the combination of an hour-long wait and a rude manager creates an atmosphere of discomfort and dissatisfaction. It is disheartening when a restaurant of this caliber fails to value its customers and prioritize their experience, especially when they invest their time and money into dining there.I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone based on my experience. The excessive wait time coupled with the unprofessional behavior of the manager resulted in an unpleasant dining experience. I hope that Jen is able to find these notes “productive” one of her responses while I tried to voice my concerns, where that the conversation was unproductive enough to makes the necessary improvements to ensure a more enjoyable experience for future patrons."

"Our entire experience at Dopo was terrible. I came in tonight with two friends, we are all young girls are we got treated like we were not welcome, as opposed to everyone else being treated very kindly. Right off the bat we were seated at a bad table that was crammed right between the front door (with a lot of action passing behind us) and another table. My friend who was seated with her back against the other table couldn 't even fit in the chair due to how far the people seated behind her were pushed out, so we asked our waiter, Walter, if we could switch seats. Walter responded with you need to ask the hostess, and made it our responsibility. It then took us five minutes to find the hostess and as we moved tables all of the staff that was assisting us acted as if it was a hassle. As Walter took our orders he was EXTREMELY passive aggressive. The two friends I was with both modified menu items due to dietary needs, and Walter was very unreceptive about this and kept responding very rudely when my friends would ask for clarification that he had written everything down correctly. The dietary restriction of one of my friends is that is vegan and gluten free, so she ordered gluten free spaghetti and made sure to comment that she could not eat cheese. I ordered regular spaghetti, and when our plates came out looking identical my friend wanted to double check that hers was modified. She had to ask a food runner because our waiter was no where to be found, despite his constant attentiveness to all of his tables other than us. When Walter did arrive and my friend asked if her meal was correctly modified, he just said yes and walked away. My friend then took a bite of her pasta, to realize that it tasted insanely like cheese, which she cannot eat. She asked another food runner to get Walter, because he kept ignoring us, and when he came over he just said that there is no cheese and left before my friend could say anything else. I then proceeded to taste my friends meal and compare it to mine, and hers did taste like cheese and mine absolutely did not. It was clear that they mixed up our orders, and after sitting at the table with my friend not eating for a good 20 minutes Walter finally came over. When we explained that my vegan friend 's food was not vegan, he literally didn 't care. We ended up still having to pay for the pasta because he refused to believe that they messed up the order. Whether it was a miscommunication or his ignorance, it was the wrong dish and despite it being his job to do so, he would not lift a finger to double check. My friend went home starving and all of us felt uncomfortable and unwelcome."
