"If you show up in a restaurant at 9 a.m. at night and fill up the tables, you know that it will be good. The host didn't wear a mask that was gone. If I wasn't very hungry and exhausted, I would have turned around and gone, but I'm exhausted to beg people to do what they have to do to keep their neighbors safe. I can't explain to you that you should take care of others. Anyway, all other employees had masks. The waitress was attentive and made a great job, especially considering how many tables she had. The French onion soup was really good. It would benefit from crusty crumbs as they were pumped in my soup. The cheese they used was amazing, and the broth was different from what I was used to it seemed like a opaque chicken broth instead of a clear onion broth. Anyway, I enjoyed it very much. My husband loved his Chili Mac. The onion rings were not my favorite, as I would rather break it beer, and they were big and thin. I still ate them with Gusto. I appreciate restaurants that can keep their kitchen open until midnight. It is a rarity during the pandemic, but the late dinners need a place to go! Finally, the dining room is filled with framed family photos that are really hearty. I would love if some of them had descriptions, so I knew what I looked at. I'm glad Biggies is in the neighborhood. Update! My family and I went to Biggie's last night, September 1, 2022. We were all exhausted. There were tons of stuff on the ground, and we were also very well visited. I have the fried chicken special and it was so good! I had the French onion soup again and loved her again. Shout to our super friendly waitress who was busy, but you would never know how she treated us with such kindness, and the young man in the ball hat and firefighter who always checked for us to make sure we had everything we needed! Absolutely excellent service for a family weekend meal. It is nice to be able to take the family somewhere where everyone is sure to find something they like."

"Where is the phenomenal button? So I really don't care if smoked or creepy BBQ food... but they opened my mind... and my taste buds! 1. Timers...we tried the chili, nachos, Sampler (with ribs, chicken, pulled pork) Mac and cheese and side salad...and for dessert...wait for it....the chocolate mousse cheesecake on Brownie crust with a Demi-Glace sauce... Chili...was the best I ever had...heart and tasteful, without too spicy nachos...we ordered meatless...the smoked salsa was a pleasant surprise... but what really did she was the VT Cheddar cheese sauce... they were just as delicious... Now the sampler... The Ribs...I was very surprised by the ribs after I was very hesitant to order chaotic food... they were made as BBQ ribs... the taste was all in the meat..not the way most swallowed in dripping sauce... every bite was clean and a very well distributed taste over The Pulled Pork...ummmm good... Work can't describe, so I'm leaving that... although it didn't need... we tried some with their homemade sweet (red) BBQ sauce... Well, it even made that much better the chicken...so to preface that we love chicken...and pulled chicken dry out quickly...can a little more sauce to help it dry out? This was our only disappointment of this experience...even if it was dry... it was still very delicious Mac and cheese...with a hint of smoke.. This was one of the creamiest... cheeziest... tasteful Mac and cheese we've ever had side salad...fresh and the BBQ Ranch Dressing was light and not about cookies dessert... I think they will definitely need more seats... but I would prefer the seats to spread more...and not so compact...our server was Karli...she was incredible...it was very nice to go to a facility where the staff actually saw as if they enjoyed doing their job...she was very attentive without being intrusive or interrupting..."

"This is my family's go to restaurant in The Hill when in St. Louis. Being part Italian (from the NYC metro area) I seek out delicious Italian cuisine, and Gian-Tony's is top notch. The food and service is consistently very good. We started our meal with the Ravioli Tostati, aka Toasted Ravioli. They have to be the best Toasted Ravioli we have ever eaten. Crunchy, but not too crunchy, on the outside, and then on the inside is a meaty filling covered by a soft yet slightly al dente ravioli. We dipped it into a meaty tomato dipping sauce. Then we ordered the Mozzarella Bufala Salad. The tomatoes were firm and meaty, and tasted sweet, and topped with a slice of creamy yet slightly salty Buffalo Mozzarella cheese. Then all of it was topped with a Vinaigrette dressing that was flavorful especially with the fresh basil. My wife enjoyed her Ravioli Bolognese, and my son devoured his Pasta Con Polpette meal. He couldn't stop raving about the meatballs and how delicious they were. I ordered the Risotto Con Pesce, and enjoyed it as well. The shrimp, clams, tomatoes and mushrooms were cooked perfectly, and the saffron infused risotto was creamy and flavorful from the white wine and seafood broth. For dessert my wife enjoyed the Volcano. She raved about the warm brownie being the best one she has ever eaten. It wasn't too dense or rich just the perfect balance of each. My son and I ordered the Cannolis. The crispy shell was a perfect golden brown color. The filling was okay, but not what I was expecting. It was far too sweet and had too thin of a consistency. The Espresso was a perfect ending to the meal. Just the right amount of bitterness to counteract the sweet filling. The hostesses and servers were very friendly, helpful and attentive.Parking: Since there isn't a parking lot one has to park on the street. That is where it can get tricky because one has to drive through the neighborhood to find open spots to park on the side streets. Just be careful to read the street signs to ensure one is not parking illegally."
