"The small beach was ideal for my grandfather while staying in San Nazzaro. Admission is free and there is a little Mexican running snack bar, which in addition to its food and drinks offers all kinds of toys in the water or on land, such as table tennis or table football. A 2m diving board is available, also a swimming power. The entire area, which is half lawn, is quite small half sand and is very crowded in summer. There are tables, Ombrellas, a few sun beds. The background music has the entire spectrum from Latin to German 'Schlager'. Food is mexican influenced, but there are also panini, pizza, hot dog, American toast or ice cream available. More interesting are their Mexican dishes such as: pizza with Cochinita Pibil (Ajote fried pork), then jalapeños filled with cheese or nachos with guacamole. The very friendly and multilingual people who operate this place also offer 4 types of Mexican beers, the most popular are the Corona for 5 CHF. They also have open wines red or white: the 1dl glass goes around 3,50 CHF, the half-liter bottle for 17 CHF. The view over the lake is beautiful and that is what I enjoyed most when I drink my Corona beer and my Caifornian grandchildren play in the water for hours. Since it is very limited to a shipping spier next to the mini torch and the place for swimmers, for my daily swimming I went to a semi deserted pebble beach about 500m south of here."
