"So this one is tough. I'll start with the positive. The bagels are amazing. Definitely get a bagel. The burritos, however, are not so great. First, I got a different burrito than what I ordered, which was really a bummer because you don't eat there so by the time I knew it was the wrong one it was quite time consuming to go back. But I really didn't like the one I got so I hoped the one I ordered would be better. It was, but not by a lot. The main problem is the very large chunks of bland potatoes. Small, crunchy, fried potatoes would be really good. Even my dog didn't like the large potato chunk that fell on the floor. But we will definitely be back soon for more bagels."

"I can't even count how many times I ordered from U:Don. While I had not the pleasure to eat, I have become a bit more regular with takeout. portions are excellent, noodles are thick and filling, generous with the meat and give up, and cheap. I could not be happier with my experiences so far, and plan to order regularly. if they are not familiar with soy-based udon, they do one please and instead try the kakuni pork suppe udon as it always makes me absurdly cozy, especially in winter!"

"Ordered for pickup which they somehow have an additional fee for...chicken was soggy and pretty bland despite the chili crisp. Thigh meat on sandwich was fatty, breast meat strips were ok. Biscuit was pretty dense. Only saving grace was the spiced honey and withouth that it would have been inedible."

"The place gets warm with the open kitchen despite the ac and a crack window so might be better to sit outside or do to go.This is a place where you order and pay up front , then bring out the food and you bus your own tables. Table and water are in a corner.My fried said her fried rice was too salty.My fried chicken bowl with no rice was tasty so my review is a reflection of the food I got. The chicken was not soggy despite covered in sauceThe rice bowls that both of my friends got were steaming hot. They had to wait for it to cool down before eating."

"This is one of my top 25 restaurants of all time. It doesn't matter what you order. The homemade bread, crushed potatoes, pickled veggies, perfected peppers, delicious bread pudding, will make you have an out of body experience, and please make sure to order a steak because you owe it to yourself. It's perfect.I'll shut up now and demand you visit the shambles or you'll miss out. It just isn't the food that's worth the trip, but the great staff and atmosphere provide a welcoming at home experience.They know what they are doing and provide a deep level knowledge and apply it. Great bourbon selection along with excellent cocktails just add to the great experience already."

"Great fried chicken, but that 's all I found here. Be warned the spicy versions of their dishes are pretty spicy. *Not a good date spot*: the food will make you sweat, and the food will probably end up on your clothes due to the undersized plates and sandwiches requiring unhinging your jaw. The pork sandwiches are overpriced for what they are inferior to the chicken sandwiches. The fermented cocktails might be trendy, but they 're not better than regular cocktails. The outside decor and construction is very cheap and uncomfortable. Tables that you can put your legs under, and adding back supports to the patio fence you sit against would be great . The inside climate control system needs serious upgrades. The ventilation fan to the kitchen is extremely loud on the patio and undersized for the kitchen. Hope this helps because this place could be really good but it just isn 't there yet."

"many people give a lot of praise for Mighty-O donuts, so that I got my hopes up. I found the donuts too overly sweet and very hard with a strange text question. Even for a cake donut I expected a tasty and softer donut, but they were dense, dry and oily. it seems as if they slightly weathered the recipe, it would be a completely different (and much better) experience updated by previous review on 2021-09-14"

"I want to say thank you to Cathy! She provides the best service!!! Homegrown is one of my favorite salad place. I always ordered from the Capitol Hill one and they have default to dressing on the side. This is my first time ordering here but they have dressing mixed in. I was soooo hungry and when I saw the dressing mixed in, I wanted to cry because that is way too oily for me. I came back to the store and someone told me I have to specifically mention that I want the dressing on the side. I was thinking I’ll never order from here anymore. I wanted to cry. BUT Cathy came out and said she want me to satisfy and she can make one for me!!! OMG The best service!!!! Thank you Cathy"

"Bought a pie slice from Ballard Ala mode, they charged me for a whole pie and sent two slices only. When I called the store they were completely unconcerned, just brushed me off and told me to contact my delivery driver. "Just wow! It was my first time come here but it won’t be my last. I got the guava and coconut cake and it was delicious!! Like many reviews, the cream is sooo good! Very light and not overly sweet! The service was also amazing! Patrick had a mishap on the cake but he was very apologetic about it and even gave me free cookies! I wasn’t upset because I did order the day before so I was just thankful that he was still able to make this for me. It was a hit at the bday party and everyone was asking me where I got the cake. Definitely give this place a try if you haven’t been!!"

"This place was our go-to spot for Vietnamese banh mi when we lived across the street. My partner loves the grilled pork and they really load up on their meat. We recently ordered from them again when we were in the area. At first they were hesitant to sell their classic sandwich when I asked for no mayo and pate because the sandwich won’t taste the same. It wouldn’t be as creamy and flavorful, which makes sense. But after explaining to them why I couldn’t eat those ingredients, and that I was okay with the different flavor profile, they were open to accommodating. Always good service and pretty good limeade sodas, too!"

"I ordered the pig bell half and half salad / milk dish. The portions were generous with pork, rice and salad. The pig was delicious; it had a delicious taste and melted in the mouth. The taste from salad dressing complicated the pork taste and rice/soya sauce. I saved the egg to pair with rice, just a nice finish to a hearty meal. The employees were fast when installing the bowl and were very courtesy/friendly. I definitely go back."

"I found Gorgeous George's from websites recommending it as a place to try while in Seattle. They were absolutely right!We came in close to closing time and ordered two George's combo entrees and one kafta kabob plate. The owner, George, mentioned he was running low on rice (since it was close to close), but offered to make us more which we took him up on. He truly loves his job and it shows in his cooking. The meat was seasoned to perfection and very tender. The garlic sauce in the plates complemented the meat well, but the yogurt sauce also went well with it. The dressing in the salads was slightly sweet and was a nice compliment to the somewhat bitter lettuce. Not to mention, he is very generous. The plates were filled to the top and we were able to eat this a second day. The prices are fantastic for the cuts of meat and the amount provided.We got a chance to talk with George while we were waiting for our food. He is such a kind man, with a very positive outlook, who really cares about people. We are only sad he does not have a restaurant in Texas.Of note, he did mention it has been hard getting staff since COVID so he does take out only on weekdays."

"very authentic and tasty! loved the shiitake rolls and green wobble pancake! would definitely come back to try some of their other vegan offers. they have some vegan options and they are clearly marked on the menu. make sure to grab some of their vinegar and chili oil accounts yum! good prices too! edit: now I have tried more hard from here! everything is amazing, but I was blown away from her chilli the garlic tofu. omg the aromen were excellent! I never had such a court. also their vegan dumplings and jajang were fabulous.
