"We went on Saturday 09/23 for our 20 year anniversary dinner. What a mistake this was. The waiter told us he had 24 years of experience at the restaurant. I dreaded him from the moment we sat down. We wanted a nice bottle of red asked if the restaurant had a Somali as he was giving us attitude zero knowledge of wine. Not long after we placed our order appetisers and main. He asked if we wanted the chocolate soufflé. Our 12 yr old is a chocolate addict so we knew this would take at least 20-30 minutes so we placed the order early on. After serving wine I asked if get had any special drinks for kids. He said nothing apart from sodas or lemonade then he said Shirley temple. My son who is ultra healthy drinks sparking water with lime asked what was a Shirley temple l. The waiter responded don't you know? Moving on onto ordering for me as I am a foodie I asked it's a toss up between the swordfish/John dory. Well jerk I was not asking what John Dory is I asked about how the two dishes lineup. Anyhow I ended up telling him we do not see eye to eye and basically I don't like his attitude. Towards the end the soufflé came and after our mains we had intentions of ordering other desserts but because he did not check I was done. On our way out I told the bald guy who I have now learnt is the owner was ultra dismissive. I don't know how anyone who is a foodie thinks this is an ok restaurant let alone mediocre. If you are a foodie you know service and quality lacking in both areas. The WAITER told us he had 24 years experience. He can stick his 24 years where it belongs."

"My husband and I had a wonderful visit for dinner at The Great Greek Restaurant in Sherman Oaks on June 18, 2023. The hostess, Oriana and our waiter, Peter, and other staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. The restaurant was fun and festive with live Greek music performed by very talented musicians, Gerasimo and Dobren. We started off with a Tarama, a favorite Greek caviar dip with grilled pita bread which was simply outstanding. They state that “Our centuries-old recipe is among the world 's best” and I absolutely agree as I have ordered it in many Greek restaurants across the United States. We then enjoyed a crunchy and flavorful Peasant Chopped Salad with chopped romaine lettuce, lots of wonderful feta cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, capers, bell peppers, red onions, red and green peppers and a Greek vinaigrette. My husband ordered the delicious Moussaka, with baked eggplant, ground beef, Greek spices and bechamel sauce. Wanting to sample many dishes off of the huge menu, I ordered the Combination Plate which featured House specialties on a large platter- pastitsio pasta, moussaka, stuffed grape leaves, spinach cheese pie spanakopita , lamb of the day, oven-roasted potato, rice pilaf, and the vegetable of the day. It was incredible and I had lots to take home with us and so did my husband. We saw many other dishes we wanted to try next time. We enjoyed reading the history of the restaurant and its artwork which included fascinating political posters and more. The valet service was so convenient and one gentleman had worked there since 1984 and was very nice. We HIGHLY recommend a visit to The Great Greek with family and friends! They won’t let you leave hungry!"

"A small, busy French bistro. The LE PETIT RESTAURANT is divided into several intimate spaces. The largest room is the nearest to the kitchen and has tables and chairs. Our table of six was set on an enclosed patio, just outside the entrance to the main room. After the sun set, the street sounds softened. Very much like the Champs-Élysées, in Paris. Our waiter, Jose, is knowledgeable, friendly, and remarkably easy going. First drinks and warm crusty French bread, served with spreads of sweet butter, and dabs of roasted Egg Plant, Hummus, and Charissa. For medical reasons I must limit my alcohol intake. However, the wine list is extensive and I'm told very good. Our well plated meals were delivered in about 30 minutes. All came as ordered. My vegan pasta primavera, with angel hair pasta and par-cooked veggies in a light tomato sauce was magnifique. It had a wonderful texture and rich flavor. The others at the table had ordered steak with french fries, seafood paella, crispy duck, and broiled salmon. Each liked their meal, wishing only the duck had been a bit crispier. Servings are large. Most took home about half their meal. Desserts were large and delicious. None were vegan. We managed to eat, sit, and talk for almost 3 hours. That's when the chairs became uncomfortable. Except for the occasional street noise it was a quiet inviting atmosphere. Just like Paris. Everything is wheelchair accessible. Street parking is available but very tight. Valet parking is $9."
