"My son chose Angelo's Wine Bar for his birthday dinner. We had a wonderful experience. The staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, especially the excellent sommelier who selected some of the best wine I've ever tasted to pair with our meal. The food was outstanding, appetizers, entrees, and deserts. The only downside to the evening was that we were seated at a high top, which was uncomfortable for my husband, who has a bad knee. Given that we made our reservation the same day, no regular tables were available. We'll be sure to book further in advance next time, as we will definitely be back!!"

"Over the weekend, we ordered catering for a graduation party and the food arrived promptly, was well-packaged, and was absolutely delicious. The mini chicken skewers, Greek salad, Athenian chicken, rice, and potatoes were exceptional. I must mention the excellent service provided by Daisy, who was patient and helpful while taking my order and following up. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be ordering again in the future. 10/10! Thank you!"

"Food was very good, server was excellent. But the hostess was terrible. She gave our party of 4 a table near the door (cold! . Before we sat, we asked to move to one of the many empty tables further away, but she said she was saving them in case they needed to push them together for a large party. Not 5 minutes later she seated another party of 4 at one of those tables. From our drafty table we were able to watch her spend most of the night on her phone."

"Ordered porter house well done server let us know it would come out looking burnt (chard) we agreed still wanted the steak well done the steak was completely pink once cut to the middle also ordered a w.r Chicago cut steak medium well once got to the middle it was extremely pink we gave them both back to the staff for them to put back on the grill.the waitress then began to disagreed with me saying one of the steaks were medium well rolling her eyes scrunching up her face. "Our server “B” provided the best service I've had at a restaurant. Definitely a 10/10 for her service. The food was delicious, came out quickly, and they were easily able to accommodate dietary restrictions. Prices of the meals were fair as well for their serving sizes. Definitely a great date night place or place to enjoy better quality food and amazing service."

"Delicious! Seated quickly. Lemon pancakes were the best thing we ordered. Biscuits and gravy is a very responsible portion size and very good. Avocado toast with Poke was legit the best AT I’ve ever had. Only hiccup was they don’t know how to make a cappuccino, it was just a scalded (aka burnt) milk latte with a glob of foam. The energy shots are very good, super potent."

"Old Golden Nugget convertido to this restaurant. So darn good ! Had the Hawaiin fried rice, enough for 3. None of the different distes I've had here are too salty, they taste just right. The Hawaiin fried rice is probably our favorite, nice generous chunks of pineapple, chicken and ham make this dish so good. Also ordered the orange beef, it's deep fried breaded. it was our 1st time having it and it was just ok, not our favorite but you may like it. Everything else is good. Pot stickers, veggie rolls, hot and sour soup, crab rangoon. You will definately find something off the large menu here. Very spacious dining área, booths and tables, clean and their service is good too. Good meal for the value/ price. One of my fav go to places."

"What a great experience! Great food and service! First, it was raining but the free valets were friendly, quick and helpful. Yes, we tipped them good! We walked in on Sunday evening about 5:30 and were able to get a table immediately. Upon being seated we received water and bread that appeared fresh baked. The waiter was very busy so it took a minute for him to greet us but he let us know he'd be with us soon and was very friendly the whole evening. Probably the best service we've had in a restaurant in months! The atmosphere feels like you are eating in Athens at an authentic local place, not in Chicago. We ordered the Flaming Saganaki cheese which seemed to be served to almost every table. It was very good! Think of it as fancy mozarella sticks but better. We shared the Athenian Greek Salad for two which was more than enough for us and was very good. I had the Keftedes, beef and lamb meatballs with a gravy with rice and potato, and it was excellent. Very flavorful and you could taste it had a good deal of herbs. The portion was large with plenty for a filling meal. I would definitely order this again. The Wife had the Pastichio, baked pasta, ground meat and cheese casserole topped with béchamel sauce, which she loved. We tried both dishes and she preferred her while I preferred mine. Perfect! We will definitely return and highly recommend Greek Islands for friends and family!"

"Chef 's workshop was a great experience. The chef gives brief explanations of each dish and his overarching philosophy on food and also offers a tour of the kitchen. moto is unique as there aren 't too many places offering haute Southern food and this place also features molecular gastronomy. In all courses, the temperature of the food was always lukewarm which noticeably detracted from the experience. Oyster Bar was a playful course with good variety and display of spherication and gels. BBQ Shrimp was a memorable dish bursting with flavor. Hoppin John was good but lacked interesting flavors. Venison was nice and dense, but the accompanying lemon spheres were a bit weak in flavor, allowing the starchiness to come out. Root beer was satisfying. Overall, the presentation and creativity were there, but the taste wasn 't particularly memorable."

"Absolutely disgusted about how we were treated. We come in about an hour and a half before closing and they did not come take our drink orders for about 25 minutes. It was like they purposely wouldn’t look at us, and the restaurant was practically empty. We finally get our waters and one of them is completely terrible, extremely salty and not drinkable at all. Our food comes out and we had gotten some to go stuff and the food overall was dry and not good. except for the sushi which was fine. The worst part was when we went to pay the waitress told us we had to tip her, and we could not write zero. I tip based on service, but she was literally over my shoulder watching me saying that i wasn’t allowed not to tip. Not only that but a member of our party paid with cash, and she simply told him she was keeping his change as a tip. did not give him the option. Terrible."

I Asked if we could move to a larger round table that was open, but were not allowed to because there was another reservation coming and they said they’d have to move us in an hour. They then told us it’s recommended to order 2 small plates per person and to share. "Cozy not only has amazing food but they love what they do and are passionate about it. The decor is like an art exhibit. The interior design is always changing and creative. I have been dining here since 2004 and was just back this past week and the crispy Pad Thai was still amazing and they have the absolute best Crab Rangoon in Chicago/ The world. "This is a place with huge potential but is let down by disjointed service it was a bit like trying to dance with someone who is really uncoordinated. The staff just don't seem to work as a team. Individual staff did try their best but lack of communication appears to be a problem. We arrived a few minutes early so were directed to the bar while our table was being made ready. Nobody told us when it was ready and it was only after half an hour that we asked about it that we were told it had been ready for some time. Even though it wasn't busy it was hard to get the attention of the bar woman. The bar staff didn't know we were eating at the restaurant so asked us twice if we'd like to order bar food and they were unable to transfer the bar bill to our table. I ordered the scallops and when they were arrived I noticed there was bacon in the preparation which was not mentioned in the menu. The waiter was really good about changing it but such a shame that the person who wrote the menu didn't discuss it with the chef. The real issue here is the management some staff are trying hard to please, others seem de motivated or not very interested in the customers."
