"Decided to download and use the McDonalds app to order breakfast ahead for my arrival. When my order was input, the app explained I should submit, text them when I arrive, and THEN they would start making my order. I called the location to ask why I should use the app if they weren’t going to start my order until I got there. The employee explained the app would detect my arrival, start my order, and ask me which parking spot I was in. When we arrived, we were not detected, but I pressed “I’m already here” and told the app what space I was in. Surprisingly, the food came out three minutes later, and was delivered with a smile and professional demeanor."
