"friend and I went Valentine's Day to dinner at 20:00 with reservations. gastgeber seemed a bit confused about reservation. they had cleaned a table in the main restaurant for us. but when our menus were placed on the table, another host took up menus and said to follow him. he brought us to a bar high table in the bar area. kellnerin was very friendly and linguistic. we ordered drinks, then a starter and meal. it took more than 30 minutes to get our appetizers in a peanut sauce. great size and good taste. After we had finished the appetizers, I was addressed by waitress and informed that they were from the middle rare nativity and remained only medium. I've agreed on medium. then it was 30 minutes or so to get our meal. Although more than I would have liked to have eaten, the main rib was very good. gf had a ribeye steak with baked potato wedges. her steak was boiled properly, but was not even warm enough to melt the butter that was served above. kartoffel wedges were good, but you were not cooked enough. They were naturally aware that we were waiting because we got a free dessert from a chic cookie and ice. the restaurant did not seem in full capacity. it would have been nice to generally sit in the opposite to the bar. the foods were mostly good but not calculated up to the standards of the price."

"we had heard mixed reviews of the Kenndy, including that it is particularly expensive. we don't find that true. it is elevated, and they pay for the quality of food and the environment, but it is certainly competitive with any fine restaurant in the upstate. other reviews have complained about small portion sizes, but we found them of medium size, with quality and we have been satisfied. there is a fresh view of the environment (we ate meal times in the building when it was another restaurant) with a feeling of kunstdeco. the dining areas could sound lively, but we had no difficulty entertaining ourselves at the table."

"My husband and I recently visited for our Anniversary. The first 15 minutes was magical, however the experience went down hill quickly (sadly). Quick Summary: Our appetizer was so fresh and yummy. Our Steaks weren't the greatest at all. One was pretty much burnt all around the edges. Still on the juicy side but still the flavor was nearly ruined.‍ We got many sides, not knowing they were large portions. The Brussels were great. The fries pretty good. The mashed potatoes awful and no flavor. I can't remember the wine I had with my meal, because they were out of my original pick. It was very nice and balanced with the meal. With all of the food aside, my service was truly hit or miss. Our waitress assistant was amazing and helpful, however we hardly saw them. The waitress herself was so short and avoided answering questions, or just didn't know much. She also pushed us along. She wanted to bring the check and didn't ask about dessert when we were eating our meal. When I said we wanted dessert she seemed nearly annoyed. Mumbled a few options. I asked for a drink to go with dessert and was ignored/over talked. My husband stood up and walked over to reiterate/correct it. The chocolate torte was rich and sweet. Paired well with the sparkling wine. The dessert was a much smaller portion compared to the sides. Overall I was let down for such a special night. "I had the pulled pork, and it was a five star plate! The pork was super moist, and the two table sauces were outstanding! Three hush puppies were included, which are really really good, I’ll probably get them as a side next time. One small, but important note: our fries were pretty cold when they came out, Wifey went up and said something and they fixed it! Came out with steaming hot french fries! Way to go, Bubbas that’s doing the right thing! Wifey appreciates hearty smokiness on her chicken…this was a little lacking to her tastes. Coleslaw was super good as well."

"Leaving this review in the same night of ordering take-out because: 1. The food was wonderful (and it has been for years), and 2. The service. My husband ordered a pie, I ordered the chicken piccata, and we enjoyed every single bite. While we waited to pick up our order, we noticed how calm and professional the hostess behind the bar was despite a ton of take-out’s, a packed restaurant, and consistent walk-ins. The manager was trying to get guests seated as quickly as possible while also making sure the servers and kitchen were running. As we patiently waited on our food we overheard a rude conversation between a customer and the manager, who was being polite and to the point. 6 out of 5 stars for Fratello’s fantastic food and service whilst being short-staffed. Be NICE to your servers and TIP them well!"

"This was my first visit. The 40 min wait wasn't too bad. Once we were seated, service was fantastic. Very professional and super nice. The bread is really good and we did get the Fried Ravioli for an appetizer. It came with marinara and it was all delicious. The entrées came with salad. I got the Pesca Di Avolo (mussels, shrimp, and calamari with marinara over linguini) and my girlfriend got the baked spaghetti. All my seafood was cooked very well. Paid $60 (incl. tip) and definitely got our money's worth. Look forward to going back."

"Such great food! There is something special about Vietnamese food—it just tastes so fresh and healthy. I’m half Vietnamese and really missed the food since moving here from Chicago for college. When I’m home, I always go to Vietnamese town with my dad, and when I heard a Vietnamese place would be opening up, I was so excited. I come here frequently now when I’m missing home, and I always recommend it to friends. The beef pho, spring rolls, egg rolls, pork vermicelli, and bahn mi are my faves. Tony, the owner, is always so friendly and accommodating. I really can’t say enough good things about this place. They have come such a long way since opening day (their service time and decor have vastly improved since then), and I hope that they continue to do well. It’s so important that we support our small businesses, and if you are looking for authentic Asian food that doesn’t make you feel gross after, I highly recommend Lemongrass. I look forward to visiting whenever I am back in SC after graduation."

"It’s always great my bartender makes me wonderful Raspberry LIT… my first experience was not one to write about but Trudy made it amazing… the bartenders on that shift were horrible they made horrible drinks and had the attitude to match I say that to say that they were so horrible 2 girls mid day that I almost never returned bc they were so nasty and dismissive. That was Aug. 2021…and before Jeff… fast forward each time I have came in I’ve been serviced by the same bartender and he’s been amazing each and every time! Last time the owner delivered my food and I could see pride as he placed the beautiful plates! I’m sure Jeff was my server/bartender and he was amazing and is every visit no matter how busy!!! On my day off I plan a visit there to sit, take in the atmosphere, on my mommy daughter date… they never disappoint. Hidden gem… tucked away hit def an all around hit!!! Chicken and Pancakes are AMAZING and the mozz sticks too…. And if cam is there request his Raspberry Long Island it’s top notch!!!"

"The service as soon as you walk in the door is friendly and welcoming. Service was wonderful, drinks were filled quickly and food was brought out very quickly. The seafood pasta was perfect in every way. The sirloin was cooked beautifully and the Parmesan encrusted flounder was delicious! It was a perfect meal, and the shrimp dip appetizer was an added bonus! We sat outside with the fans running made for an enjoyable atmosphere."

"Nice clean place. Nice chill atmosphere. The stake was cooked prefect but was flavor less. I got a side of Mac and Cheese and for the money it was plentiful but not my favorite style of Mac and Cheese. The hamburger was over cooked when I ask for it to be cooked medium so it was dry and hard. The appetizer was very good. Service wasGreat .
