"Not overly impressed for the first time eating there. Maybe it's because we were there at 8:30 and they close at 9, maybe it's because the people there were having a good time drinking and talking and the kitchen was closing down. The food was good...EXCEPT: I ordered the vegetarian grilled cheese and it had no tomatoes (even though that was part of the description); the coffee was old...like really old, I just told them don't waste time making a new pot for free coffee; the mushrooms used in everything are not REAL MUSHROOMS, they are the pre-cooked canned kind. Anyone who eats out anywhere knows REAL mushrooms make a difference. If you are going to pay $10 for a grilled cheese sandwich I want actual full flavor fungi. The prices are high in my opinion. The sandwich included chips, any other side cost money. My bill was over $11 for a sandwich that was good but not memorable (maybe the coffee wasn't free because the menu said the sandwich was supposed to be $10 so with tax that wouldn't compute). I watched another person I ate with pay over $28 for their meal. Staff was friendly and seemed efficient. Sorry Ruby's, for drinking or music I might come back, but for eating you won't be a go to. I'll come back at a different time at least once, maybe that will be a different experience."
