"I always stop when in town. You have Dublin Dr. Pepper in glass bottles, great chocolate shakes and delicious burgers. I'm not a Frey type, so I don't think so, but they seemed decent. Burgers can sometimes get out overdue. That's really nitpicky."

"Just amazing food and really great service! Cullen was our waiter and was nice as could be!! After we ate, we ordered 2 pizzas to go (the Emma pizza) but due to a problem with their oven the pizzas were destroyed so it took a while to remake them. We had no issues with this and were having a good time just hanging out, no big deal. But even without us saying a thing they told us they took the 2 to go pizzas off of our check and gave us a 50% coupon to come back! THIS ladies and gentlemen is how you run a business. Treat others the way you would like to be treated. This was our first time, and they have already guaranteed our regular business."

"We visited on a weekday, during happy hour to specifically explore the appetizers. We did the fried pickles, fried mushrooms, cheese tots and quesadillas. Pickles and quesadillas were good, cheese tots were decent, however the fried mushrooms lacked flavor. Dip that came with the appetizers was a nice touch, bringing everything up a notch. Our service was good, however the QR code/ordering system needs some refinement. Decent place for appetizers especially with happy hour prices. Will visit again!"

"I can't believe I didn't write a review here. My husband and I love this place. It's a place where you can get coffee and beer. It is a place where you can catch up, take a fresh air outside on the terrace or do a little work. It is a stylish but relaxed atmosphere with a small bite that they offer like fools with goat cheese, and chips and salsa, etc."

"The prices are unreasonable and it’s fishy. It’s like I’m buying from scammers. It explained their internet was down yesterday and the store was closed. The place seem empty with no customers. Be cautious to pay attention to the register taking your orders down and the indoor menu manual prices doesn’t match with the menu prices on photo album in GPS app. Please be a wise person to try go elsewhere because they are doing something that seems to be a illegal as usury and selling their foods in illegitimate business. This is shame."

"Poke Austin has been on my list of spots to try after reading the wonderful reviews. Today after a long morning of moving, I treated my friend to lunch at the Brodie location. It was the ideal “thank you” meal for the grueling task of hiking up of flights of stairs while lugging boxes. As I’m reminiscing on this meal, I’m salivating and craving a trip to this gem in south Austin. The build-your-own method is the way to go at this place. Although, the to-go Spam Bowl I ordered for my partner did not disappoint and was extremely satisfying even after a quick round in the microwave. I feel like the game changer on that order was adding the waygu tataki. I didn’t ask to add the marinated egg but will definitely do that next time. Pictured are our two bowls we created which were topped with nutrient-dense seaweed salad, crunchy roe, tangy kimchi, and plenty of other toppings. We both went with the garlic aoli and spicy Mayo drizzled on top but would have gladly tried all of the sauce options. Their drink selection was wonderful with craft beers to refrigerators filled with types of teas. Be sure to grab an icecream mochi as a sweet treat to have with your meal. I picked the red bean but next time plan to try the cereal milk mochi. Overall, 10/10 would recommend"

The listing is misleading, as it presents this restaurant as separate from others. Additionally, the photos used are quite outdated; the interior looks nothing like what is shown."

"Wife and I enjoyed a great meal (shrimp scampi for me, and Chicken club sandwich for her). Food was well prepared, with lots of shrimp in mine. My wife's was a good size sandwich, so she had to take half of it home. Good size meals for the price. Beer was cold. Our server, Micaela, was very efficient, friendly and professional. This is a great place for family or just friends having dinner."

"Doc’s Backyard is a great place for families to hang out under a small grove of live oak trees. They have a large outdoor area, with many picnic tables and a play area. Despite there being many people and kids running around, I was able to find a seat and was waited on quickly by very friendly staff. Doc’s has a full bar and at least 20 beers on tap. The basic cheeseburger was charbroiled and good, but was slightly overcooked I also sampled the cheese fries which were the bomb. Looking for a place where a few couples can hang out together with their kids and also get a few beers? Look no further. The patio is dog friendly too!"
