"Where to begin... The friendly atmosphere, clean environment, the best chefs or the most delicious sushi I have ever eaten in my life. The sushi rolls here are something summer sunset dinner memories are made of. What a place for a cozy out of season date night. The Google reviews here were the reason we picked this place. I hope my review will be a deciding factor for other reviewers. This is by far the best place to get Sushi in Long Beach Island. Just watching the chef make the rolls was so entertaining and enjoyable. The ambiance is a perfect setting. This is more of a take out place but they have a bunch of seats at the sushi bar to eat which is what where we sat. The owners wife is very knowledgeable and super friendly and was working side by side with both chefs. I will not only be back but will be a yearly regular during my stay on the Island."

"I worked here 5 days a week and couldn't appreciate better staff. Bosses, bakers, market workers, behind the house (kitchen) and in front of the house wait employees! I love where I work and the wonderful treats, local suppliers, agricultural fresh products, including agricultural fresh eggs, in house pages quiche, wonderful restaurant menu and more. We have local craft beers not only for sale on the market, but in the full bar and restaurant. Visit anytime and we will take care of you! Thank you for the other Wonderdul reviews! "This was our first time eating here and it was amazing! We waited for a table on the deck and it was worth the hour wait. Our server Francesca was wonderful and kept a smile on her face the entire time. The manager was making his rounds the entire night making sure everyone's food was good. We will definitely add this to our list of places to eat while at Topsail on our yearly vacation."

"Great place!! I went here with my family and the atmosphere was like no other. All the staff was super sweet and got us sat down immediately! Food was great and came out super super fast. Big shoutout to the blonde bus boy who so kindly conversated with my family and brought my kids out extra drinks whenever I asked. I highly highly recommend this restaurant!!"

The restaurant is charmingly intimate and sets the stage for the delights to come. Our meals reflected the impeccable freshness and quality of ingredients Chef Francis is known for, as well as his exquisite preparation. Each dish was a delectable balance of taste and texture with a beautiful presentation. Debra, Francis' wife, manages the dining room with proficiency and cordiality. You know Debra truly welcomes you, and takes time explain the menu. Francis' menu is seasonally based and includes specialties of the day."

"I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! I decided to stop in for a coffee on a whim and ended up also getting some delicious baked goods. The staff was very friendly, the treats were tasty, and I loved that they use coffee ice cubes in their iced coffee. I wish I had more time to explore the rest of the shop, but now I have a reason to come back! Overall, I give the food a perfect 5 out of 5 rating."

"I love the hardee! The lines are much shorter now because the bridge to the beach does not pass directly. The food is the most real from all fast places. And it seems that the food is actually cooked and not only heated in a microwave. The people who work in this store are really nice and friendly."

"We arrived at opening and were the first people in the restaurant, but it quickly filled up. We started with a watermelon smash and Moscow mule. Both were delicious. We ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms and six wings to start, both were great. The wings were crispy and the BBQ sauce was very good. The mushrooms were cooked perfectly with melty cheese on top. Our entrees were a kids' fried shrimp, decent portion and looked good, it was gobbled up quickly by a picky kid. The crab melt is a delicious sandwich and the ribeye was cooked exactly as I asked and the green beans and stuffed potato were yummy sides with it. Our server was really a nice person and we would happily go back just to see her again. This place is on our short list for another trip to Surf City."

"so there are many options for non-milcheis and non-milcheis frozen yogurt. even some options for cookies and other desserts. I spoke to the owners and they told me they make the vegan options in the house and pre package them. so they only have the possibility of a size. Depending on the day, the ice is made either with a cocos, mandel or soy base. they would think with owners who are vegan (some of them), they would not be so much for not milk. two people before me got two medium-sized tassen milcheis for $8. my single cup pre-package, a size not milcheis was $8.50 for the cup. $17 for my mother and I. As much as I want to support the local and family businesses, this makes me just want to make the trip to the beach harbour for the non-milk and storage disease. I'd expect a charge, but not twice the cost. especially not from vegan owners. sad."
