"Our Valentine's dinner experience at Hannibals/Chez Vincent was nothing short of disappointing. Despite my boyfriend's reservation, our evening started off on the wrong foot. Upon arriving, the hostess brushed me off not once, but twice, before acknowledging our presence. It was disheartening, to say the least. As we were finally seated, the service didn't improve. Our server treated us with a dismissive attitude, as if we were children. (We are a rather young couple, but we both have well-paying jobs and have enough money. The prefixed menu, which was not advertised anywhere online, left us with no choice but to stay and endure the underwhelming meal to avoid a cancellation fee. The food itself was a letdown. Bland flavors, clearly frozen vegetables, and a hefty price tag of $80 per person for a meal we wouldn't have chosen otherwise. The filet mignon was overcooked for me and undercooked for my boyfriend. The seafood pastry was subpar, and the salad was simply sad to look at. To add insult to injury, the lack of attention from the staff was glaring. I sat with an empty water cup for an extended period, while nearby tables received prompt service and were provided with water to pour themselves. No one bothered to check on us, despite our server having only a few tables to attend to at the time. The only silver lining was the unexpected dessert, which wasn't listed on the menu. But even that couldn't salvage the overall dismal experience. Hannibals failed to meet even the most basic standards of hospitality and culinary excellence. Our $170 meal felt like an overpriced snack, and I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to anyone. What was meant to be a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner together at a fancier restaurant than we’re used to turned out to be a major disappointment and quite frankly a disaster."

"Dining at Armondo’s is always a treat! The service is always excellent, but come for the chef’s incredible food. My family and I went for dinner on a Thursday. We were lucky enough to have our menu decided by the chef, who chose an incredible 5 courses. Our first course was delicious fresh baked focaccia with olive oil and balsamic to dip. Our second course was the most perfectly cooked piece of charred octopus with potato, chorizo, and pickled carrot that tied the entire dish together and brought brightness to the dish. Our third course was caprese salad with fresh, juicy summer tomatoes topped with smoked salmon. Our fourth course were our entrees, and they were each perfectly cooked, balanced, and flavorful. I had the most incredible veal chop with a risotto croquette in rosemary demiglace with sweet pea purée. I don’t usually eat veal, and was floored by how much I enjoyed this dish. I’m still dreaming about it. My father had tender rack of lamb with purple potatoe purée, carrot confit, goat cheese mousse with a sherry and cherry reduction. He didn’t speak the entire time he was eating this dish, solely focused on the food, which was the true sign of how much he enjoyed it. He did pause to give me a perfect bite, making sure I had a taste of each component of the dish. It was amazing. My mom had the most perfectly cooked piece of halibut I’ve ever had with amazing saffron créma and risotto. She ate the entire plate, no leftovers were had! She ate it so fast I didn’t have time to take a picture. Chef finished our meal with a beautiful dessert platter with chocolate cake, cheesecake, and limoncello cake tying a beautiful bow on one of our most memorable dining experiences yet. Make sure to add Armondo’s Winter Park and Chef Daniel’s food to the top of your list of restaurants to visit! It’s quickly become a go to place of ours."

"This is a very special place and I would recommend it to anyone with any reason to celebrate life itself. I came in to celebrate my birthday- the whole team of staff, from the warm hosts and welcoming management, to the drink runners, to the foods runners, to Holly the restroom attendant- everyone makes you feel special, seen, and cared for. The immaculate Gabe with the insurmountable assistance by Julian were our servers (and lots of extra care by other staff as well). With their knowledge and attention to detail we felt we were on vacation, we didn’t have to think or do any work, loved it to say the least. For a brief moment it truly feels you are teleported to somewhere else, the architecture and ambience further convey that energy. Then there’s the food- OH my the chefs are a talent in this establishment. We took Gabe’s recommendations and might I say I now trust him with my life. Get the Halloumi cheese wrapped in crispy phyllo dough and honey drizzle. Still thinking about it. The flank steak is perfectly cooked as is. The scallop ceviche is FRESH and invigorating. The lobster pasta- need I say more ?? The pasta is homemade (you can tell the difference) and the meat was plentiful (I was impressed). And of course desserts- the chocolate fondant, the olive oil cake, the baklava. Cover all your bases, just get all three! It was a dining experience we will simply not forget. Thank you Ava team, you have my undying support"
