"Charming small place with a small, well selected menu and a wine list that is worth exploring. Especially because I know the owner for years as a bartender, host and sommelier and knows that she is very serious about her field. Don't let a little down! Even wines ordered by the glass are poured from the bottle at your table. You get warm, almost melted butter for your bread (I hate these hard dishes you have to fight with). The Antiipasto plate had Pate, Prosciutto, Sopressata, several cheeses (the aged provolone and smoked Gouda were my personal favorites) and other accompaniments.... if you are not there for a full meal, it could be worth ordering only THAT at the bar. My steak and Jocelyn's scallops were delicious. Only suggestion for an improvement is that I have a LIGHT dessert (Italian ice cream or chilled fruit) and the available desserts were quite heavy (which seems to be normal in fine restaurants in the USA).... some simple cold raspberries or grapes would have been the right target. I ended up with the chocolate mousse I can't complain about the quality, but it was quite a production with pistachio ice cream (in fact one of my favorites), a generous portion of mousse, and cherries on the ground really worthy of a meal of itself, instead of something to cool off and prepare for the rest of the evening...."
