"I really enjoyed my visit to Mexicali Blues. Located in the rapidly growing entertainment district of Trussville, it’s a great addition to the area. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant; however, I was a bit disappointed that their outdoor seating wasn’t always available, depending on the day. The staff was very friendly, and we didn’t have to wait long to be seated or to receive our food. I tried two or three different types of tacos, and they were all delicious. A standout for me was their queso—it might be the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant! The only downside is that I found the prices a bit high; the tacos range from $5 to $6 each, and that’s without any sides. Keep in mind that the total meal cost can add up quickly, but if you’re aware of that, you’ll enjoy your dining experience here."
