"I enjoyed lunch at Mavis Winkle 's Irish pub in Twinsburg, Ohio. The pub is located at the southern end of a mini-mall west of Darby Road. There are many free parking available on the street at the Mini Mall parking. This is my first visit to this pub. The pub has a dining room and a bar located in the bar. The bar has a smaller dining area. There is a separate dining area with a large screen and a projection TV. There is an outdoor dining area for warmer weather. I started with a bowl of Guinness Onion Soup. The soup has a great depth of taste. The broth tastes great. There are many onions in the broth. There are no hard crumbs, there is a soft bread that grows the broth. A cheese fills the soup and melts well. The cheese is tasteful. The cheese does not reach the edges of the bowl. A good way to lunch. I had an unsweetened iced tea to drink. Next is my duck corn beef and cabbage with baby carrots and garlic potatoes and a small stainless steel container made of spicy brown mustard. The presentation of the Entree is beautiful and appetizing. On the plate there is a pot made of garlic potato. Adjacent to the potatoes is a bed with bite size steamed cabbage with baby carrots above. In addition to potatoes and steamed cabbage, a pile of delicately thin-cut corn beef together with a small stainless steel container made of spicy brown mustard. Each product tastes super and compliments of each of the other elements on the plate. I have to say that the potatoes are not creamy, and I prefer a wedge of steamed cabbage instead of the bite size pieces steamed cabbage. After this comment, the duck tastes great. I prefer the 'traditional' presentation of corn beef with corn beef slices above the wedge of steamed cabbage with carrots and potatoes next to them. The staff is friendly and attentive. You often check back to make sure you enjoy your meal. You distribute your drink without asking them. The pub has Irish folk songs at lunch. You have live bands in the house several times a month. The pub and the men's washroom are clean. The men's washroom has a commode and a urinal. Is that enough for St. Patrick's Day and on big playing days? With the selection of Irish beers of the pub, I wonder if they fed Porta toilets out to treat the 'over flow' quantity. I really enjoyed my lunch today. I returned to Mavis Winkles Irish Pub in early May 2022. Wendy is my waitress today. What a great personality. Very friendly and humorous. Always with a sincere smile and a big laugh. I started with the Guiness onion soup. All right! My duck is the Twin Burger Mushroom Swiss Cheese Burger. Two hand crushed meat patties with salad, tomatoes and raw onion. The cook is generous with mushrooms and Swiss cheese. You get several sautéed mushrooms with every bite. The Brioche beung complements this burger. Very delicious. What a great burger! The burger comes with perpetrators. I chose Coleslaw for an extra cost instead of the perpetrators. I really enjoyed this lunch. Food and service is unforgettable."
